Great, thanks for the heads up. I just need a new laptop for storing my iTunes library so hopefully this should do the trick :)

Decent little laptops, once you get rid of the masses of bloat ware they are a good little laptop. Basic but great for kids doing homework, browsing Internet etc.

Heat added.

Don't rely on the payback when i tried to put in a claim on the lenovo site the dates in the drop down menu wouldn't go further than the end of October even though the laptop was purchased in the middle of November, I've emailed them but they don't seem very keen on getting back to me

Ordered this instead of the amazon lightening deals compaq as identical specs but this has a DVD drive. Getting the casback can't be that hard. I've done it before with others no probs. Think this was £179.99 after cashback yesterday.

Curious to know what the inevitable critics have to say about this before I order..

does anyone have one of these, seen various models (i currently have a asus laptop which i have loved) but needing something quicker etc although i really only browse the net on one and itunes for the kids etc so nothing too special. long battery life would be bonus but other than that not into games. is it worth spedning the extra
