It looks like you've read it correctly. Maybe its because they dont want you buying, returning within a cooling off period, and claiming cashback in between?!

Hard disk size is the filling cabinet ("defragging" is sorting your files into order for ease of finding them later)
Hard disk speed (5400 / 7200 rpm) is the speed at which the secutery brings you the work
so basically you a balance between all of the above :)

I guess your receipt would be dated, which would show it was purchased during the promotion and the cashback would still be valid? Could be wrong
