Just bought one of these and I went through Quidco....

Intel Dual Core - 500GB 3GB 64Bit W7, WiFi, WebCam, Hdmi, VGA etc....

Did not need amazing graphics.... Butfor the 500GB and 3GB I think this is a good deal.... Speakers sound good in the spec too....

Not many reviews for this model with 500GB, if it is no good once it arrives, I will just sell it on I suppose....

Its ordered now, because you know what Play is like....

One minute £350 Del, next £400 Del....

I have been looking sometime for a replacement laptop for my daughter using the refund from a returned faulty Toshiba.

Budget is tight i.e. c£350, and because the original Toshiba was an official refurb it was very well specified for the money (AMD dual core cpu, 500gb hdd, 4gb DDR2 Ram, good dedicated graphics card).

It is clear that even with the various laptop deals around at the moment that for £350 I wasn't going to be able to replace with anything as well specified.

So, having bought an A1 'as new' Dell Outlet desktop just after Christmas I decided to go down the same route with the replacement laptop.

Having been attracted to the following deal which posted just 2 says ago http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/dell-outlet-inspiron-15r-n5010-i3-3/844695/?page=2#post10316911 I have just purchased a Dell Outlet Inspiron 15R/N5010 with Intel i5-450M(2.4GHz) Mobile CPU (with turbo boost); 4gb ddr3 RAM, 320GB HDD, webcam and bluetooth card). Not 100% sure about graphics capability but looks like those N5010 that have the i5 processor ship with 1gb dedicated graphics card.

For this i paid £367, had free delivery (available until 28th January) and includes 1 year warranty.

If this comes in the same perfect as new condition as my Dell desktop then I am going to be extremely well pleased with my purchase.

So, before necessarily buying new, its always worth having a look on the Dell outlet site
http://www.dell.co.uk/outlet

Stock changes daily, and around 3.00 p.m. seems to be the time when lots of new stock gets added to the inventory but some items, particularly the Inspiron N5010 (with their i3 and i5 processors) go very quickly.

Hope this helps.

Certainly a hot deal, but if it goes faulty at all you can forget about support and returns. Play are sh*te.

I saw that one too.... But I thought the couple of quid from Quidco would get me a coffee or 2 lol

For the spec above, at £350 Del, you wont see any better.... If so show me... at the same price !

You guys wanting to spend extra this and extra that, do so :)

PS As I said if the speakers are no good like the BluRay MSI I got for £299 it will be sold on again :)

That makes it one heck of a deal. I'd rather pay £50 extra and get it from Amazon.

While they do usually get consistently good reviews after the nonsense they put me through with their warranty service I wouldn't touch them myself.

When I had issues with play about a year ago they were ok. I like this laptop, seems a good deal.

Quite correct.... Your always going to get someone who gets a hard time lol...

I buy from Play weekly (Stock etc) any returns/refunds are dealt with within days....

Never had a problem for years.... You just need to get someone decent on the phone etc...
