Update. This model does have 1 x HDMI. It also seems it may be the Z560 going by the reviews, so it may be a typo on ebuyer's part.

Some reviews there say they actually ship out the Z560 which I got from ebuyer a couple months ago, looks like a typo, regardless the z560 is a good laptop.
#2
Great deal if its not a typo. Cheapest i5 with dedicated graphics. No HDMI though.

The processor is a beast, but the 310M isn't cut out for serious gaming.

Thats a brilliant deal, do things like that come up often on Dell Outlet? Also, was it a refurb or marked in any way? (not that it matters for that spec and price)

This is a very hot deal for me, swap out the RAM and hope it has HDMI and it's a winner.

It doesnt say but on dells website a new 1 comes with a 1GB NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 420M Graphics Card. So im assuming it comes with that

GT 420M 1GB is stock for the dual core version; you need an i7 to upgrade the GPU.

Wow, bargain if it does!

I have a similar specced Dell but with a full HD screen and 4GB ram...£629 a year ago. Processor is awesome, runs Fifa11 but with fairly low settings at a lower resolution.

Hot from me

Good laptop for the money, but do keep checking the Dell outlet some nice bargains do crop up now and then, saw an XPS with full hd screen at a very decent price but missed out doh!

The XPS 15s with an i7-740QM are going for £535 or a little more....now that's a great deal.

Great price but its refurbed. The price cant be THAT low surely unless it has major scratches/surface damage?

I too would be interested in XPS 15s, but the outlet site doesn't seem to specify which graphics card is in any of the available models...?

If the review I read is accurate (http://www.hardwareheaven.com/reviews/1076/pg5/dell-xps-15-l501x-laptop-review-components.html) the i5 version of this laptop has an Intel GPU built into the i5-460M processor and a Nvidia GT420 1GB.

It supposedly uses the Intel onboard graphics to save battery life and then seamlessly switches to using the Nivdia chip when you start doing something the demands more GPU power.

Wish I could understand what you get on the dell outlet store. All the laptops seem the same apart from the GHz. Would be nice to know which has a graphics card. I'd like to play some older game like Starcraft,C&C etc.

Or unless as I've asked before someone can recommend a good laptop from the shot direct group.

for xps 15, any i7 = geforce 435m otherwise geforce 420m
for xps 17, any i7 = geforce 445m, otherwise geforce 435m

Ah right, thank you. When it came to the actual area to chose they just missed out the GPU totally.

Anyone have the money for me to get one then ?. Only wanting one around the £450 mark so not to expensive for you. ;)

imo yes this is better
the cheap i7 are in the dell outlet rather than main store - refurbs and customer returns.
