Seems rather cheap for what it offers, particularly compared to other Lenovo G570 15.6 inch notebooks with lower specs. What do you think- is it a glitch?

Nice price on Amazon for a good spec laptop, I thought it had blu-ray as well at first but it's bluetooth.

It does have Bluray as stated in the detail description. Got one for myself and expect to receive it tomorrow. It is surely one of the best laptop deal for i5-2430m!!!

Gosh. When I bought it yesterday, it was written bluray. Think Amazon amended it. Anyway, it's still a great deal X)

You can get the i3 with bluray for under £500. Does anyone think there will be better deals after xmas or should I get a laptop now?

They don't, the one on my 2+ year old Dell Studio still works great and has pinch to zoom, etc too. And two buttons :p

If you do need the laptop for gaming, Lenovo G770 would be a good choice with 2GB of fast mid range AMD graphic, i5-2430M, and 8GB DDR3. It is only £579.99 in Amazon and £40 cheaper than Saveonlaptops.

Have used G570 for a day and looooooooooooove it!

Samsung series 7 has nice trackpad too. Apple does have nice hardwares, but you pay almost £1k more for it.

Well, if you don't need it urgently, do wait as most likely it will have more discount

Didn't know laptops still came with those, loved them on 486 Toshibas.

Winson I do not need it urgently as I can use my pc in the meantime but just hope I can get a better deal if I wait till Xmas. I was going to buy this laptop but having reservations as I have heard that the screen is not great. I would be playing the odd game here and there but not often at all

My current laptop is a Lenovo N100 which I bought about 5 or 6 years ago for £550. Its dying now as I can only use it without the battery charger plugged in and battery dies quickly. If I use it while the charger is in I cannot use my trackpad and it makes a constant loud ticking noise, lol
