Hmmmm... Do not waste your money and buy NUC instead.

Or build it yourself :)

There is so many other (BETTER) options than this.

Many new Desktop PC's have dispensed with legacy PCI slots, unless you mean PCIe which would be unusual.

Isn't the cheapest NUC barebones machine over £200 without any ram or hard drive? Hardly comparable.

an i3 desktop for £150 and people complain that it doesn't come with an OS or spare PCI slots? easily solved by spending £300 or more and get a Dell with an i3, OS and PCI slots.

Those with eagle eyes might noticed the difference between the two, hint: double the price

Now, where's the 'slaps forehead icon' ?

It's also missing a digital video out port.

And an i3 desktop with all those things is £230 from Ebuyer. http://www.ebuyer.com/643321-zoostorm-desktop-pc-7260-8002

No I mean like its impossible, the license (unless its one you bought separately on disc or download) is tied to the motherboard of the PC it was purchased with.

It's £10 for a dvd rw drive, if you still use one.
Similarly for wifi, a decent adapter is pretty cheap. The Lenovo in the op isn't wireless either btw.

IT world loves acronyms like telecoms and both sectors seem to be on a bet who can have the most. makes the business I work in, mobile teleocms very interesting -

some common telecoms ones, BTS, MSC, 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, Tx, RF, SIM, MSISDN, IMEI, NGIN, SMS, MMS - there are 1000s of others

Time for you to try out Ubuntu then :P

Mine has arrived, as expected no expandibility (well limited).

Remove the DVD drive to allow room for a second hard disk drive if wanted.

Perfectly fine for anyone wanting to do web browsing!
