Now if this has USB 3.0 and HDMI out/in
#3
lenovo's site says only the 305 has multi touch screen. Tempted as I need a new work machine with a bigger screen but the spec is not much better than my HP-DV6 1210sa laptop.
#4
Why a full HD LED screen with no hdmi or blu-ray drive? Why lenovo why? :(
#5
PS/2 seems a random choice for a keyboard these days.
#6
Yep its very mobile like a laptop , and you can use for games.

...and a touch screen would be just fab. but cant expect to much for 500 :)

Nice spec, definitely hot from me. Looks like it definitely has touch screen.

Found £10 cheaper here
#8
HMDI would of been sweet! nevertheless good deal with the specs its got
#9
Good spec for the money, not as hot looking as the other one but the dedicated graphics will help it along a bit.
#10
Great deal.
Looks like a great bit of kit.
An i5 version would be sweet.
#11
these lenovo deals are popping from everywhere!
#12
it's no iMac is it?

Don't get me wrong, I have two Lernovo thinkpads, lovely things, but for day to day working? no chance, I'll stick to iMac..
#13
tbh, lenovo is reali good!! and it is leading the all-in-one-pc marckect
#14
This one is still available for £499 with a touch screen, but losing the TV tuner.

Except the iMac is double the price of this... so that's a bit of a pointless comparison.

Say's wireless keyboard and mouse, however from the pic both the keyboard and mouse look like they have wires attached?

So come on then guys, which do I go for??

This lenovo or the other one which is also on Amazon. The white one does have HDMI in and out and looks far nicer but this one has a larger hard drive, quicker processor, and dedicated graphics.... but it just doesn't look quite as sexy as the white one!!!

My usage will be mainly web based and work. Bit of photo editing but nothing major. I don't use the PC for gaming as the PS3 is used for that.
#18
I would say the white one would be fine for your needs processor and graphics wise, whilst not great for the latest games the integrated graphics are quite powerful, and a lot nicer to sit in front of for hours on end too!

Edit: I'm tempted by this, just held back because I know it wont be great for gaming, thinking I can build something much more powerful for the money.

RRP of this is 800, iMac basic RRP is 1022.. Not quite double in my book.

Who said anything about RRP :|? In THIS deal (which you posted about the iMac on) this is £550 and the iMac is £1022 with a lower speed processor, lower capacity HDD & no TV tuner.

any kind of carrying cases available for these?
#25
Tempted but would it not be better going with a big lappy like this deal

http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_7741G_1005707.html

Better spec I think and more versatile surely?
#26
So this is not touch screen??

its says this in the decription...I'm confused

Bought one of these for my in-laws. Set it up at the weekend and can confirm it is a touchscreen. I'm absolutely gutted I'm going to have to give this up, I really want one myself, it's a great bit of kit. The screen is great, the keyboard and mouse is bluetooth and the computer is a decent spec. My in-laws are getting an i-3 with 4Gb of RAM and 1TB hard drive and I'm left with a Samsung netbook!
#28
expired, not available anymore
#29
after i bought 1.. the price increased to 798.. u can still buy from saveonlaptops.. but the reason i buy it from here just because at Amazon they stated the RAM : Memory: 4Gb DDR3 DRAM 1066 MHz
while on saveonlaptops the memory is just 800Mhz
