I originally reserved the same laptop from Argos at the higher price until I saw this. I don't think you can go wrong at this price for a laptop!

Just use it on wall power when you need it, and ocassionally let the battery discharge from 100% to 10~20%.

I just assumed technology had improved. My £300 laptop from 5 years ago has a much better battery life.

I think scratch and dent dell inspiron would be better for only £100 more.

bought one a few weeks ago was after a cheap laptop just for surfing and kids homework, tried it out in the shop and seemed ok. persuaded myself that it was cheap enough rather than going for a quicker model. Took it back a couple of days later you couldn't open more than 1 tab at a time hopelessly slow. After having lots of issues with my works more expensive Lenovo I honestly don't think I would buy one again.

The lithium battery has basically reached its maximum. You can't improve it anymore.

The only thing you can do is make the system more efficient or make the battery bigger. But you can't make the battery itself "better".

What would be a good number to have a reference in the future?
