Looks good and I would have gone for that but I suspect most people buy a netbook wanting the long battery performance and I suspect the extra £ may be worth it for the Samsung despite Lenovo having the better laptop heritage.

Trolley bag for a 10.2" notebook?
#4
EDIT these links say it with only 80GB HDD so not as good as OP

Just googled for battery life in hours and found it cheaper here. £274.51 if you can collect or £281.40 delivered.

edit £269.03 instore (if they have one) or £275.91 delivered here

Showing as no stock now?

The 80gb one is the old model and not sold now. The 160gb version works out a few quid cheaper after quidco.

Do want a netbook but keep thinking I'll wait for a dual core atom one.

But Lenovo S10 has a much better screen & built quality than Samsung NC10!
#8
how is the screen better and how is the build quality better?
The build quality on a NC10 is perfect.

Scrap the last questions as your comments are misleading.

From the independent review linked at the top
"I also found the build quality to be the poorest I’ve seen on a 10-inch netbook, but only by a slither. "

The screen is smaller than other 10" netbooks as others res are 1024 x 600, the lenovo has a weird 1024 x 576. It also suffers badly with screen flex.

The keyboard is not as good as others, MSI Wind, NC10 etc...

The plus side is it looks nice and easy to upgrade the ram and hdd and i like the splashtop idea.
