Fun is getting more for less. The IdeaPad Z Series affordable media notebooks features cool entertainment features and the all new 2010 Intel Core processor family, all wrapped up in a fashionable design. Others might think you paid more but you’ll know better. So whatever your idea of fun is, the IdeaPad will help to bring it alive.

Key Features

* Direct Share – easily synchronise your files with another notebook without connecting to the internet
* VeriFace – Face Recognition, the fun yet secure way to log on to your computer
* Onekey Home Theatre II – for optimised audio visual settings
* Lenovo Enhanced Experience for Windows 7 – A faster, richer and easier way to use your PC
* Dolby Audio Sound Enhancement

This has been posted before but now has a further price drop and free laptop bag worth £9.99 (and free bulldog antivirus)

I have been looking around for a laptop like this for a while and decided this is the best value for me. Only downside is 2gb graphics but that is offset by not suffering integrated graphics.

I looked around for the best deal I could get for an i3-350 laptop and found this one posted. I can confirm that I purchased this item @ a week ago:
Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 Laptop, Core i3-350M 2.26GHz, 320GB HDD, 2GB RAM, 15.6" TFT, DVD-RW, Dedicated Nvidia Geforce 310M, HDMI, Webcam, Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit 227402 Invoiced £374.45 (+ Vat)

and also purchased an extra 2gb Ram whilst I was at it:
1 x Kingston 2gb Ddr3 1066mhz Memory Module 158703 Invoiced £25.69 £25.6

Feedback: I am very impressed with the buid quality although some of the keys are slightly different than I am used to e.g. the enter key is a tad small than I would like. The highly polished cover is easily marked and looks grubby with finger marks all over it. There are only 2 usb ports on it and could have done with an 1 or 2 more. The wireless on/off switch is very small and well hidden away. I paid an extra £72 for an extended 1 year warranty incl accidental damage as I know how expensive & inconvenient these things can be when they go wrong/are damaged.- so now

Overall I am extremely pleased with the value for money and is an ideal business machine at this price. - and I suspect will perform extremely well for the majority of home users.

Hope that helps

Warranty options I was offered:
The Extended Warranty programs we have available, are as follows:

A. One additional year of our standard Limited Warranty ( the one you currently have) is 35.67euros or about 32,05 pounds!
B. One additional year of our standard Limited Warranty + the Accidental Damage Protection( it covers ALL kinds of damages; ie; broken screen, spillages, damaged keyboard..etc); price is 72.57euros or about 65 pounds.
C. Two additional years of our standard Limited Warranty ( 2 more yrs on top of the 1 year you currently have) is about 77 pounds or 86.10euros.
D. Two additional years of our standard Limited Warranty + the Accidental Damage Protection, is 146.37euros or about 131 pounds.

P.S. Thanks for your feedback :)

You can use esata port as a 3rd usb. Also can add 4 more ( or even acouple of usb 3.0 ports) for about £10- 20 by using a express 34 card.

would be nice if those cards were able to be recessed as the ports just stick out from the chassis dont they?

Use this http://www.crucial.com/uk/systemscanner/. Personally, I'd just buy unbranded and match the spec exactly to what comes up as compatible with your system.

Mine arrived yesterday - very pleased. Seems really good quality and performance for the price.

You might want to update your price with the 60p difference and politely encourage them to expire theirs!
