Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 1024 - Core i7 2.2 GHz - 8 GB Ram - £699.99 @ Currys
looking for a new laptop and this seems incredible value.
Produced by Lenovo (Lenovo is the world's second-largest PC vendor by 2011 market share (after Hewlett-Packard) and markets the ThinkPad line of notebook computers and the ThinkCentre line of desktops.[4] These brands became part of Lenovo's offerings after its 2005 acquisition of IBM's personal computer business)
Add Currys £10 per England Goal and you're almost assured of at least £40 back, given England's average goals ratio in major tournaments (ahem!!) - to get this laptop for around the £650 mark is a steal in my opinion.
Solid laptop - good price... i'll sit back and watch the tech heads tear it apart with various "screen is crap" comments.... etc etc.

Jump to unread Post a CommentI didn't vote one way or the other as I can't be bothered to find if this particular model can be bought cheaper. If I were spending £700, it would not be on this personally.
Or is it just people who only buy basic laptops and baulk at anything over £300???
Can anone find a better laptop for less money?
You gonna regret spending £700 on a laptop without USB 3.0
that isn't a dig or anything.. I need a new laptop - i'm a graphic designer so need it to have good power... any ideas of anything in this price bracket (i.e. sub £800... that isn't a mac) that matches it for spec?

Because USB 3.0 is soooo important.
Lenovo make some good kit, personally I'd spend a bit more and get something with a 1080p screen and possibly a better graphics card.
