I've spent ages looking for a decent 10 inch tabby for under one fiddy and my quest is now over and I am now victorious. I even used my £50 voucher from the 8" galaxy tab fiasco. Added to that a 2 yr guarantee, with free delivery and returns and I am happy as larry.

And please - cold voters, suggest a better alternative for under £150, I may return mine and opt for your suggestion, and so may others - so you would be doing HUKD a service.

Cheers me dears

something I thought I should add is that it gets very, very good reviews - which was the clincher, otherwise I may have waited for the lenova yoga 10 to come down a bit more in price.

Good find, what is the deal with the cash back?
#2
Shame about the resolution, otherwise I'd snap it up.

Screen Resolution doesn't look good to me

It's OK at this price and perfectly acceptable.

Nice spot op.
Good price for the spec. Would be ideal for most people.
The screen res nerds will obviously look elsewhere....

Looks very good for the price
#7
2 year guarantee included too!

I have this from around launch, but got it with the case and Bluetooth keyboard for about £100 more. It's a decent tab and runs very well. Just a shame lenovo are crap for updates. Still no kitkat :-(

yeah, i agree, at this price you will have to compromise on something and 1280x800 isn't too bad

Okay tbh. If you wait a few months. Expect a nexus with 1080p screen and andriod l but for around 250-300ish

This is a good deal. Not amazing. But still not rubbish. A good deal and after cash back its good. So hot

I agree.., shame it doesn't do the dishes or the laundry otherwise I'd have got one as well.

If anyone knows of one that can do all the above (and has 1080p res) at THIS price, and congress with a 2yr warranty please let us know, cheers

I think this hot, but believe me, you don't have to be a 'nerd' not to like this resolution when you're used to a 1920 x 1280 on a 9" Nook HD+. Once you go true HD, there's no going back...
#15
Mrblack11, Please can you explain how you get the cash back?
#16
cash back via manufacturers website
#17
No 3g which means no GPS :(
What us the battery life like?
#18
This is s6000L and the s6000H has 3G/gps .. still a good price although a lot of places reducing. But with 2 year warranty not bad :D

Other option is the nook hd+. Dual core and no camera's but a full HD screen. Nook skin is so so, but it's easy to run Cryanogomod without rooting.

16gb still at Argos, Very and Woolworths.

32Gb at Very.

Agree 100% personally but I do acknowledge that there are a lot of folk who are not interested in the many benefits of customisation, modding and such like. At the top end of the market they are apple fans. At the budget end, they buy stuff like this. Nothing wrong with that, as the Lenovo is a decent tablet at a good price.

Incidentally, I got my Nook HD+ from CEX, who have stock of grade A used Nook HD+ 32GB for £102.50 delivered. I understand a load were given out to students in Manchester who promptly went and traded them in.

I don't know if anyone is interested and wasn't sure whether to post as a deal but Morgan Computers are doing a refurbished Nook HD+ 32GB on ebay for £78.95, only a 3 month warranty though..

My Wife as had this for 4 days now, she absolutely loves it, it is as quick if not quicker than my Sony Vaio laptop when browsing and doing on-line stuff. It runs all her Media / music & videos and all her Google / Facebook games /apps. we have not experienced any lag or glitches. It as run just as smooth as the other top end Tablets. This is a bargain without the cash-back, but with the cash-back it is a scorcher.

.. how old is the Sony Vaio though ;)
If you check reviews out and specs .. the 2013 Nexus is double the speed!

It is plenty fast enough for me and my needs my friend. ;)
also the i don't know which Nexus you are refering too. but i would guess it would cost a lot more than these. If you are willing to pay big bucks i am sure you can find better (ipad/sonyz2/nexus10). but this is a thread about the Lenovo s6000 tablet, and the cost of it, which in my opinion is a scorcher. as for the review you linked too , all i can do is give you our personal experience with the product which up to now as been excellent.

i was in sainsbury yesterday and the 9" nook was reduced to £99, probably 16gb.
national? unknown

I have this tablet,it's a really nice tablet,10 inch screen, wider than my I pad, good screen quality,my wife bought one too when the were £159 at Argos just after Xmas,it takes an sd card, has USB on the go,poor camera though, has quad core, very quick at browsing, could however do with more updates.
But like I say ours have lasted since just after Xmas,no problems, very stable operating system, and I use this in conjunction with my I pad and kindle fire had, they all serve their purpose and all have good long battery life and that's all that matters.
The Lenovo s6000f is not an I pad but it's very versatile and a very good tablet in its own right, though I do hate the very buggy google play store.

Good deal
#33
BOught one from Amazon about 6 months ago - £150. Very good for the price, but poor support from Lenovo in the update department.
If you're not into cutting edge or an HD fanboy go for it
#34
Good find..will grab it !!!
#35
How can this be a good deal when you can get the Nook HD+ for half the price? The Mediatek cpu and associated gpu are poor, the screen resolution is pathetic for this size of tablet. Those who are endorsing this resolution on this screen size really don't have a clue.
#36
In terms of performance, would this be good as the ipad 2, 3, 4 ...? Thanks

Well consider it this way... this here deal is an orange (metaphorically speaking, I mean android), and those are apples (factually speaking, but I mean different in every way).

Make of that, what you will my son. As my old geography teacher used to say "ask a silly question"......
