Dabs is a terrible company to buy from which is a pitty because this laptop is good. I just purchased something from them but I regret it now (BTW have never received my tv). I would avoid Dabs.com unless you are a gambler and like the thrill. Read web reviews about their service. Just to make clear it is the seller Dabs.com which is bad, not the Lenovo N200. Good Luck if you decide to purchase from them.

Yes, it is better to spend a few pennies more to get a good service (or as in my case to get your purchase delivered first of all).

LOL. Had nothing but problems when i ordered my Lenovo laptop from laptops direct, cancelled orders/incorrect delivery etc..

Eventually ordered it from BTShop (run by Dabs) and service was excellent.

Just an update on my own experience with dabs. (Unidium you must be the lucky one). Received my TV today from dabs.com but is the wrong model. Tried to fill-in the returns request which stated "as you had your purchase for more than 28 days, we are unable to refund you". I received the item with Amtrak today!!! There is NO HUMAN or a telephone number to call. Everything is done via email. I will contact Trading Standard about dabs.com. You have been warned, stay away from this company if you want to keep your sanity.

Here is what CAB advised:
If you feel that this is a bargain and you want to purchase from dabs.com, follow this:
1 Always use dabs.com direct checkout, DO NOT use Google or PayPal because you don't want a third party involved when there are problems.
2. Alway use a CREDIT CARD and not a debit card for protection of your purchase over £100.
3. Keep a copy of the original offer (a scan their web page with the offer is best).
4. Keep a HARD COPY (printed) of all emails and corresondence between you and dabs.com.
Good Luck.

Very good laptop (was £320 last month though), however my version has an NVIDIA GeForce 7300 and the other N200 sold by Dabs didn't despite was more expensive. My N200 (which I'm typing this on) does have a webcam. It should also have a wireless a/b/g adapter.

I wouldn't recommend buying from dabs though, their security check is terrible, I only managed to get my order by cancelling the previous order and using paypal.

Waste of paper surely - your emails aren't going to evaporate so print them out only if you really need to.

BT owns Dabs and BTShop and BTShop is simply the dabs product database with a slightly different web shop front end. All the orders from both go to the same place to the same people.

Consensus seems to be that since BT bought em a couple of yeas ago the service has deteriarated somewhat

Good deal all the same

And the ironic thing is that once BT took over, the phone lines disappeared...
