I was going to buy this but put off by the cold votes. Can someone please tell me why it's a bad deal? Thanks

quick look Amazon selling since May this year no reviews yet on Amazon.

It is on the chromebooks that will get android apps eventually list.

Am in the market for a chromebook and so tempted but I can wait until touchscreen ones come out. Android apps with no touch seems a bit daft to me. Still no idea why this is voted cold.

I just ordered one, via Prime Now with SAVE5 discount code came to £94.99. Can't go wrong for sub £100, partner about to start part-time college course, it looks like it will be good enough for that. For some reason can't add heat to this deal, May explain why cold?

its a great deal. you can't get one for less new, and it has 32gb of storage, and has waterproofing and drop resistance. perfect.

Don't know why so cold! Hot for me. This one will also get support for Android apps too. Google blog

What's up with this deal, added heat but it made it even colder lol

it's people without prime or that object to paying for prime down voting the deals. it's a great deal. I've long wanted a Chromebook that's small, has the ruggedness of the dell Chromebook 11 and has 32gb of storage. This is perfect, and the extra storage will come in handy for android apps. it's a great deal
#11
you can install Windows on it as well
#12
Hi

I have checked the web and there seems to be lots of info saying you can install windows on this device.

But nothing saying how...can somebody please post a website for details on how to do so with this device.

Thanks
Mike

Not sure why this is getting voted cold as it is a great deal. I own 2 chrome books already but ordered this as my 100GB offer runs out soon. 100GB free Google Drive for two years is so often forgotten when pricing a Chromebook. The other two chromebooks I have won't support android apps (despite one being a 2nd hand 2013 Pixel) I see this as perfect for gym bag or travel due to education rugged design+waterproof keyboard and with android apps will be able to install office, BT sport, Sky Go and Skype, KODI and other streaming apps that depend on crappy silverlight for websites so don't work on chrome. I will have no need of Linux at all as I'll be able to do everything on this bad boy! To those moaning about prime deal just sign up for a 30 day trial, order then go to options and disable auto renew in membership options!

This deal should be red hot, but the voting buttons aren't working properly. The one I ordered has been delivered and it is excellent. Very light but rugged, it has a good keyboard and screen.

Curious. Does it have microSD or SD and does it have 32GB or 16GB? Also is it 2GB RAM or 4GB? Reason I ask is that the specs Amazon have listed don't seem to match with the N22 models I can find elsewhere! Sorry to be a pain but I have ordered 2. I will keep them anyway (one 4 me and one 4 wife) but I am really hoping does has 32GB and microSD as per listing (or at least 32GB as can just use SD adapter)

got one for the kids and for spotify, lets see

This is a good deal. Heat added.

I seem to be echoing everyone elses thoughts. I mean make no mistake this looks like a lower end chromebook, but it is one that can run Windows and looks pretty well built. Android apps will be brilliant. At the face of it it does seem "stupid" to have android apps without a touchscreen, but then, most apps we use don't matter. Social media apps, streaming apps - none of these need touch and function with a keyboard and mouse.

I'm more curious with how windows functions, would love something like this for Uni (don't need any specialist programs for now, and the ones I will need are such insignificant parts of the module I'll just do them on the campus's computers when I'm there, or wait until I return home to my beast :p ) but being able to use in the 1 time I'll need it brings me some piece of mind.

32gb and 2gb like most low end Chromebooks it looks like.
Spec Sheet here seems to suggest a standard SD card reader but then also contradicts with onboard storage :/ Seems there's not much information on the product. Might just take the plunge and send it back if anythings wrong.

Thanks mate. This must be an unusual N22 model as the only 2 versions I could find are 2GB RAM and 16GB SSD or 4GB and 32GB...not seen a 2GB RAM and 32GB model anywhere else for the N22. TBH for me 2GB RAM is fine...it was more the 32GB SSD I wanted for android apps as I can do most things in chrome on 2GB easily as I am a 2-4 tab man max...not sure how anyone can cope with 30 tabs on an 11 inch screen! If it is wrong can always moan at Amazon for discount even more for wrong listing!

Are you using the PrimeNOW app ? I think you need to order via this rather than through a browser.

The model is N22-20 Chromebook, model name 80SF, Notebook LN N22 - 20 Chrome N3060 2G 32 CR Black. Specs are CPU Intel N3060 1.60G, RAM 2G, Display 11.6" HD, Battery 3Cell, OS Chrome, SSD 32G.

The SD card slot is full sized. It has 2x USB, one on either side, and an HDMI.

To get the SAVE5 code to work you need to be using the Prime Now app.

Still can't believe that this deal is cold!

It isn't a bad deal!
Chromebooks are great imo - Its just Windows idiots voting cold
Most people are going to love 10 second boot times, no stupid updates, no virus worries

All for £99 ?!?!

Seriously get one!
#29
Having just watched Lon Seidman review this it is an even better deal then I thought because android apps when they come currently can only access and install on internal memory so 32GB is a must!

you have to register on NUS site and sign up for an NUS extra card then you get a code from there that lasts until August then just get another one. I had issues because they never set up my email address when issued me card at union but needed a new one anyway for my PhD so finally got this sorted!

Ordered item via Prime Now, just been delivered, tried signing in, it wouldn't recognise the letter i being pressed, turns out that there's a whole strip of characters on the keyboard that don't work...this will be returned.

no, I meant I have all that, but don't see how to get discount from Amazon.

sorry, meant I'm on Amazon Prime as an NUS extra, free for 6m, £39 thereafter. How do you get Amazon discounts on my registered student account.

The student discount only comes from NUS Extra, you don't get one if you did it through any other means like UniDays

Does this have the UK keyboard or the USA keyboard? The picture on Amazon shows a USA model N21 (not the correct model, which is the N22). Thanks!

I would be quite up for this, but the prospect of Android apps, and no touchscreen kills it for me. Looks like well designed machine, certainly a hot deal.

Ordered one a couple of hours ago using the PrimeNOW app and got £10 off using the code 'TRYITNOW'

Was delivered at 9 PM and I have been using it for the last 15 minutes. All good so far and a bargain for £90.

Shame the deal went so cold as a few more people would have bought it if it had made the front page of HUKD

How's the performance on web browsing? Do you feel any lag as some reviews mentioned it is a bit slow?
