Are you talking about this Argos deal? http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lenovo-a7-7-inch-1-3ghz-tablet-16gb-quad-core-android-wi-fi-reduced-109-99-40-gift-1962483
That is a slightly different tablet and is the wifi only version though.

Well MTK aren't very forthcoming with updates so I wouldn't get my hopes up.

I'll stick with my current Nexus 7.

OTA updates already issued for Kitkat 4.4.2

I'd read up on it before doing an update. An android update with no input from the chipset vendor generally means it ends up being junk. As in this case.

I've been looking at 10" tablets for my in laws, it's got to be under £200, with some expandable memory. Full HD and 3G aren't necessary. Does anyone know the difference between the S6000 and the AC70-10?

All I can really see is a different processor, but not sure if one or other is better!

Thanks! (other suggestions gratefully received!)

They are both essentially low end parts.(Quad core A7). The main difference is the GPU. The MT8382 has a Mali400 GPU and the MT8389 has a SGX544. The SGX544 is a more powerful GPU but is clocked lower. They are both in the same ball park but the MT8389 is slightly more powerful.
