Slightly cheaper using this link here. Delivery is free on that link for the same tablet as far as I can tell. Comes to £67.50 delivered - pick up isn't an option with that link though. It's also a refurb and in black.

Bought this yesterday before the voucher code came out - will contact them to see if they will apply it retrospectively

Bought this last week from Argos when it had just been reduced to £79 so this is an even better deal now.
Stonking little tablet. not to be confused with the lesser 7" version which only has 1GB RAM and older Android
This 8" version has 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and Android 6, fantastic device.

Might as well pay the bit extra to have it brand new, right?

Click and collect didn't work for me the first time i had to close the browser and try again. It is worth noting that this code is a one use code. I wasted mine trying this :(

I'm saving a few pennies and went refurb as not too bothered if it's new or not - as long as it works. If it was a gift, then yeah defo.

Sold my lads old lenovo 1gb ram tablet for 60 notes locally, this is a nice little upgrade for a small outlay.
I seem to sort of rent my tech nowadays, move them on with a bit of monetary value left in them and upgrade.

Same here mate, even broken or damaged **** seems to sell. I sold a 5 year old laptop on ebay with broken charger port and headphone jack for £120 cost me £499 5 years ago... new laptop only £204.

Thanks Op, needed a tablet for my 2 year old, and this looks ideal. Does anyone have an idea of a good (and cheap!) case for this?

try eBay. about £5 - £10 depending on the type. I paid about £8 for a magnetic tri-fold one.

Voucher code refuses to work. Price is £79.99.

Nice £8 saving over the previous deal. Swapped them over at Argos, as it's just around the corner..

Anyone know where to get a screen protector (tempered glass even better)?

Bought two of these tablets using two different methods and thought it worth posting what I did. Bought one Friday using the code CEBAYARGOS from ebay argos which worked out at 72.00 as highlighted by OP. Bought another one about an hour ago direct from the argos website, after clicking through from Topcashback. This approach worked out better because Topcashback offered 10% cashback and I still got the £5 voucher to use towards a future purchase, under the spend over £50 to get £5 voucher promotion which is currently running. Of course cashback is never guaranteed, but I usually have no problems with getting cashback from Topcashback. I hope my post proves useful to someone.

Hi. See my post, number 20. Basically you can get the tablet from Argos with 10% cashback from Topcashback for the same price as from ebay argos if you factor in the 10% cashback that topcashback are currently offering for argos purchases. You also get a £5 promotional voucher for use on next argos purchase, which you dont get when ordering from ebay argos.

Thanks OP for posting this deal.

I ordered this tablet and received a confirmation e-mail but nothing else about ready for collection. It's been 2 days now. Has anybody ordered and collected theirs?

Just seen a few on Amazon, from around £7-£10 like this one but that 1 says delivery after Christmas

Thanks. Assuming that it has identical physical dimensions as this model because (other than at Argos) most of the 8'' lenovo tab 3's are 1GB ram models (eg on Amazon)

The Argos one is definitely 2GB ram. I ordered mine from Argos eBay and had a text to say it was ready to collect straight away.

I have this deal and am perfectly aware that it's 2gb. My question was whether the other versions of the tab 3 a8 8 inch with 1gb (eg sold on amazon) are identical in physical dimensions to this one. Don't want to buy a screen protector and find it doesn't fit. (_;)

Apart from the obvious battery and screen size, does anyone know how this compares to a Galaxy Tab A 10.1? Want the same sort of experience but a more manageable size.
