Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet - 10" 1280x800 IPS, 3g, micro SD, full size USB slot £254.00 - Lenovo outlet - New

clemfclemf

Seems a great deal for a quality tablet - full 10" ips screen, 3g and micro sd. Not crippled by having reduced expandability like the ipad and google nexus. Come up as £239 with £15 shipping. Bargain.

Some of us are using phones to give other users feedback, so they can evaluate if something is worth a purchase
Trust me the user interface is not as forgiving as a keyboard.

So before you open your mouth to cuss the next guy for not being able to type as well as you.

Please ignore what's below this line, since my phone user interface will not allow me to edit on the last line and has no cursor keys.

Hmm, why are they using wooly words: "Broadband Integrated Wireless WAN: Ericsson" Why don't they just say 3G? I would be cautious about thinking that this has the required module installed.

If I remember rightly this is the interesting one which allows input via a proper stylus as well as capacitative touch, might be more useful for some than the traditional tablets around....

The seller is not actually Lenovo, it is the distributor Digital River. The same organization also operate the Canon and Logitech outlet sites.

I have a Motorola Xoom and I think they are similarly (or better specced) and being sold a good bit cheaper.

    Ignore that, mine isnt 3G

Certainly not bad, for built in 3g, and upgradeable to ICS.... Lenovo are known for general build quality even if their kit isnt the most asthetically pleasing, Heat!

I must admit I like the fact that it comes with a stylus, and I believe has pressure sensitive writing and drawing. Would really like to give it a try but can't quite afford it yet.

Tempting, but that's an awfully large resolution (which is good, and needed at 10.1") with "only" a dual-core 1GHz.. Looks really good otherwise, reasonable onboard storage + expandable, 3G included; want my pie, and to eat it..

No built in GPS Navigation support ....

Do people use 10" tablets as GPS devices? Seem a bit big to me.
