That's not good mate, as I know myself and other members appreciate you posting those deals.
:D
The OS installation process is quite easy and relatively pain free - dependent upon what you have available (in terms of hardware) you can either install the OS via an external USB Optical Drive, via USB Flash Memory Stick or if you have it via the Optical Drive present in a IBM/Lenovo Docking Station, which is compatible with your model of ThinkPad.
:D
Once you have the basic OS installed it's just a question of getting an antivirus package installed (i.e. Microsoft Security Essentials) and then connecting it to the internet to download the Lenovo ThinkVantage System Update Utility (downloads the core essentials for your ThinkPad) but also downloading all of the relevant updates via Microsoft Windows Update Website as well...once that's done it's used a question of installing the software you need, with a good example being the Ninite Website for multiple software installations that can be done in one download.

Probably best to check locally for a price before committing
These machines have a key code which will reduce the price of OS installation
This is bolton lancs though so dearer down south no doubt

In theory yes but you would have to refer to the various Hackintosh Communities and Forums out there for the steps needed to get it all up & running fully - bear in mind that the bundled wireless card may not be compatible with Mac OS X, so you might have to look into buying an external USB wireless dongle or look into replacing the internal wireless card BUT the later will require you to install a third-party BIOS patch, to remove the hardware whitelist that Lenovo uses; without doing that the laptop will fail to boot due to the checks carried out during POST.
EDIT: Here's a couple of example forums to consider checking out for further details.

EDIT 2: More links to check-out...

Although I was pleased to see that the Latitude D620 that I paid £38 for can be hackintoshed with little conflict.
Could be a future project in the making.
