2. Description and price of the goods

We have taken care to describe and show items as accurately as possible. Despite this, slight variations in items may occur. We provide you with product information on ebuyer.com. If there is anything which you do not understand, or if you wish to obtain further information, please contact our Customer Services team on: 0871 521 33 00.
Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on ebuyer.com are accurate at the time of placing your order. If, by mistake, we have under priced an item we will contact you and offer you the following three options:
placing a new order at the correct price for those goods;
cancelling the whole of your order; or
Cancelling your order for the mis-priced goods and reconfirm your order for the correctly priced goods.
If you do not choose one of the 3 available options within 14 days, your order will be cancelled or the under priced item will be removed from your order. If any payment has been made by you, you will be credited back to your original payment method.
If within 14 days of accepting your order we discover that all of the goods are unavailable, we will contact you and advise that we may cancel your order and refund or re-credit you within 7 working days. The refund will be credited back to your original payment method.
If within 7 days of accepting your order we discover that some but not all of the goods are unavailable, we will contact you and offer you the option of cancelling the whole order or amending your order to a substitute alternative. If you do not choose a substitute alternative within 14 days, the unavailable item will be removed from your order and we will deliver the available goods. If any payment has been made by you, you will be credited back to your original payment method.
The price of an item does not include the delivery charge, which will depend on the delivery method you choose.

The terms also state:

Any order placed by you for goods advertised on our website is an offer by you to purchase the goods selected in your order. No contract exists between you and us for the sale of any goods until we have received your order and accepted it (which we may do at our discretion). We will send you an order acknowledgement shortly after you place your order, notifying you that we have received your order. This acknowledgement is not notification that we have accepted your order.

...but I've ordered in the past and never received this 'order acknowledgement email' that they say they send out

Guess I will just have to wait out and see what happens, be nice if it works :)
#11
Is it just me, or doesn't the sale of goods act specify that accepting payment is the point at which the contract is formed, I think once this has happened they have to honour it....

It's basically really up to how the retailer wants to play it, by what they state in their terms and conditions

No, unfortunately it's not just you. There's at least one in every misprice thread...

I have a tracking number for delivery tomorrow so I assume it is on it's way

Looks like their honouring the price then.

tbh. You can get a 1080p 22" for £100 so, this 'misprice' seems to be around the right price for this type of low res monitor
#16
Have you got a link for the 22"?

I paid < £90 delivered for my 22" Viewsonic 1080p monitor (VGA, not DVI), just over a year ago.
