Mains Power Adapter and Battery can be purchased cheaply off of eBay UK - if your lucky you can get genuine Lenovo branded ones at decent prices.
Vista Business is just as good as 7 Professional as long as you install all of the service packs and the various updates from Microsoft.
:D
Get the intel graphics drivers rather than the default windows/lenovo ones because then you get open GL and you'll find that graphics performance is much much better.
You can pick up the docking station with built in dvd if you keep an eye on ebay or install from usb.
This might be faster than most new netbooks, but a lot of newer netbooks have a better GPU meaning less strain on the CPU when playing videos.
I've seen this come up several times but just can't find anything to get excited about, build quality aside. If they were more like £60 it would be a real bargain.
Clearly I'm in a minority as they sell out within an hour or so!
Are you for real? You got defensive about your own deal here for an X31 which was far inferior to this one!
If you want to install Linux then format the USB to FAT32 and Use a tool called UnetBootin with the ISO image of your distribution.
If you want to use Windows format the USB to NTFS and use the Windows installer disk, also with Unetbootin. Oficially it does not support windows but it works every time.
I think that they have now changed the wording on their listings - I guess that they've had some problems with people expecting perfection at a low price.
TBH I bought it for my daughter, wanting something cheap but with a bit more umph than a netbook. It does tick all the boxes. I got a new genuine battery for £20 and a new genuine power adapter for £10. Docking station was £20 on ebay including dvd. So for £130ish I got a very high quality, light, portable laptop that does everything she needs. The c2d processor is why I went with this rather than a cheap netbook, I have a MSI Wind and some programs are dog slow on it.
So far it has been used for stop motion animation and a bit of android development and is looking like a good buy.
You do need the right graphics drivers though.

From what I've read, Grade C is complete pot luck isn't it? Is the only difference a lack of HDD?
