Been after one of these for work. Now £200 off. Haven't seen it this low anywhere else.

Been after a 13" for ages now. Can anyone give me their 'experts (more expert than me isn't hard) thoughts please?

Personally I needed 1080 resolution as I do a fair bit of data entry between windows so narrowed down the options somewhat but really it should be default these days.

What is your budget and what do you intend to use it for. How much do you value screen quality, battery life and performance?

For a i3, no

I get that, but there aren't any i5s I've found at this price with an 13 inch, 1080 screen and I've looked for some time.
Never going to use a 13 inch for anything processor intensive, perfectly fine for business use / media playing and internet use. I'll leave the Photoshop and gaming for the desktop.

What do people like you do, look straight at the processor and decide its no good?

because on a Ultrabook like this, I would imagine an i5 or i7 would offer very little? you can not game on these, and the processor being a ULV offers great battery, this model can be upgraded to SSD with a spare M.2 Slot which would massively increase performance. I fail to see why an i3 would be an issue.

Excellent price OP, and I am buying one next week if they are still in stock and dell outlet doesn't spring anything between then and now :)

Been using mine for a couple of days now, screen is very impressive, you can't get anything that touches it at this price. Boots up quickly, my first experience of a hybrid HD, not so sure I'm going to bother with my planned SSD install now as its quick enough for now. A bit of bloatware to remove but runs slickly.

Now showing as £399!? Dammit, will JL refund the £50 extra I paid on the 27th?

Beaten to it, I thought this was going to be my first deal post!!! Got one this afternoon.

I was looking at hybrids like the Asus Transformer Book T200 but while it looks excellent I wanted a higher res screen.

This fits the bill brilliantly at the price and can be improved with more RAM and SSD when needed. It's no powerhouse but for this price it's a lot better than anything else out there. The screen is great quality - not quite "retina" but much sharper than other laptops at this price

the ram is soldered on so you won't be able to upgrade to 8gb in the future. I would have bought this computer if it had 8gb of ram. however it is still a good price.

Can anyone who has bought one of these confirm if it has a backlit keyboard or not. The reviews are conflicting, some saying yes and some saying no (_;)

Think this deal should be hotter, ideal laptop for most people, much more portable than a 15".

Anyone found a good case for theirs?
