2 in 1 11.6-inch 500gb laptop

Tesco deal of the day.

Full spec

The Lenovo YOGA 300 combines the features of both a tablet and laptop in one ultra thin and easily portable device. Its unique 11.6-inch HD IPS touchscreen display flips around 360° for use as a laptop, stand, tent or tablet. You can easily switch between the 4 modes, based on what you choose to do.

Powering the YOGA is an Intel Pentium Quad-Core processor which delivers a speedy performance and smooth multitasking. A 500GB hard drive provides you with ample space to store hundreds of images, video and music files. The stereo speakers are tuned with Dolby Home Theater sound to deliver an immersive audio experience.

Running on Windows 10 Home, the YOGA comes preloaded with useful security features that help you safeguard the device against theft and malicious software. Data can be easily transferred with other devices thanks to the USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports and 2-in-1 card reader. Also, with a long battery life, you can use the Lenovo YOGA all day without recharging.

#3
Does anyone know if there is an android alternative?
#4
can you swap out the HDD and replace with SSD?
#5
Pentium, not fhd, minimal ram, tiny hard drive. Who's voting all these crap computers hot lately.

This isn't hot or shouldn't be. Saw one in my local curry's at the weekend at £279.99. I actually bought one of these as refurb from Argos with 12 months warranty for £104.99. An absolute steal at that price but it's not worth £299.99. The screen is only a TN panel and is awful.

Yes you can scroll with one finger.

Looks like all retailers have put some prices up on the run up to Christmas but seriously this is not a £300 laptop. And yes mine came with he Pentium quad core and 500gb drive and you can swap it for an ssd.

If this reduces to only £200 (or less?), before Christmas/New Year, then this may just be worth looking into?, and/or buying I think?. :-)

£200.00 would be the most I would pay for a new one of these unless they have changed the screen from a TN panel to an IPS panel which I doubt. Mine has the same spec as the one posted. I purchased mine from Argos Ebay for £104.99 as manufacture refurbished with a 12 months Argos warranty. Apart from a couple of minor marks it was in mint condition and works lovely. Definitely a bargain for what I paid. However the cheap screen really does let it down and it has nothing whatsoever to do with it having 1366 x 768 pixels.

For £200.00 that would buy you what is a very nice capable small laptop with great battery life. Bear in mind though that I only paid £249.99 for my Asus T300chi which has quite a bit more to offer spec wise including a full HD screen for not a lot more. For anyone who is interested my Asus will be up for sale on ebay pretty soon. I have used it maybe a dozen times and now it's sat in a drawer. As new condition with original box, charger, pen etc. The last one sold on ebay for more than I paid. If you live in the East Riding you can come and have a look. Other than that it will be on ebay but I will be unable to post the link as I don't think that is allowed. You can PM though but it will go on ebay unless you live near me.
