Got the yoga 2 10.1, very disappointing. Battery was nowhere near as good as estimated which resulted in a return.

That's interesting... How many hours usage did you manage to get out of the yoga 2?

Have one , it is a great simple tablet.
Battery life is a lot longer than my samsung tab3

However , do not update to latest firmware , there is a serious audio bug.

Remember they state battery life on certain usage patterns. Everyone's usage will be different, iphone or galaxy users know this already. I have the 13.3 yoga tablet 2 and while I get nowhere the stated 15hrs based on my usage patterns it's still excellent and performs the same, maybe better than my old note 10.1 2014.

Got one a couple of months ago. If you're a light user (e.g. eReader, occasional web browsing etc) then battery life is excellent, way in excess of any tablet I've ever used. I've had 15hrs plus recently while travelling and there was still 10% or thereabouts left.

Audio is better than most although with Dolby switched on and volume cranked up, battery life does suffer - same with video playback. Don't expect 18hrs, but you'll still get more time than most on the market.

Design wise, its good - the battery side fits neatly in the hand when used as an eReader and the flip down stand is useful for watching videos. It feels solid, aluminium case with no plasticky bits to break when dropped... and yes, I have (unfortunately) drop tested it!

If lack of RAM bothers you, spend the extra and get the Yoga 2 - if not, for £95 - £119 this one is a decent buy.

This is the old one, less ram, lower resolution. Cpu aparrently caused some issues. The new one (yoga 2 10 hd) with intel cpu and full hd resolution has an amazing battery life....

Silly naming method though. Bit like the nexus, where one always has to mention the year to know if it's the old one or the new one

well I have the yoga 2 10" and the battery is amazing just playing games and browsing I get at least 3-4 days and that's around 4-5 hours a day today I've watched 2 films played games and browsed and its been on for 10 hours and I still have 30% battery in

Great wee tablet.
Note the screen display can have the choice of 3 modes Tilt, Stand or Hold modes - varying brightness, temperature (colour) and contrast. Switch the automatic sensing off to get the best - I find clearest is in the Stand mode. Think this was catching a lot of the so called 'reviewers' out - who said it had a poor screen ..... while the Yoga was in the dimmed, low contrast 'warm' screen Tilt mode, ie for comfortable 'low glare' typing.

I got 7 hours of usage on and off. Was on a dim screen setting using Evernote to write down notes for my dissertation. Screen got extremely hot and the tablet got very laggy.

May have been unlucky but I wasn't going to risk getting another! Resulted in getting a Hudl2 screen which I haven't looked back with!

Got the Yoga 10 2 as well. well worth the extra money. Great for films etc due to the stand, screen and battery life. thoroughly recommended.

So where is the cheapest Yoga 2 10 inch?

Pity it is such an old version of Android.

There are updates to KitKat already available.
I have got one and battery life is outstanding...maybe not 18 hours but about 12-15 which is more than everything else on the market.
I have had it on standbay for close to a month and there was still plenty battery left.

Also bild quality, audio, and front facing camera are high end.

Very pleased with mine !

The Yoga 2, 10-inch model. Cheapest I can seem to find is £199.99 on Amazon. It was down £169.99 at the start of December but went back up again according to camelcamelcamel

Well it is a nice tablet, but at that price point I think I'll be looking for something with Windows on it, rather than Android. I bought a cheap laptop with touchscreen for £150 from Asda, and the touch experience on Windows is fantastic. But want something a bit lighter now.

For those who might be still following this deal and haven't pulled the trigger on buying a tablet, Argos are offering 10% off of refurb purchases right now. There are two of these tablets left and I just paid £85.49.
