Nice deal, though the tablet's a little heavy I think. The nvidia shield tablet K1 comes in at 356g for instance. It does have a slightly smaller battery but we're talking 22Wh vs 19.75Wh.

I have the 10inch with projector I got from Argos outlet refurbished on eBay for £314. The projector is great (in the dark). I think I would be pleased with one without projector also as the screen is very good even in the sun. Battery life excellent and the stand is extremely useful and seems very good quality. No update to android when I looked but maybe that has changed recently. Also the latest mobdro doesn't work with mine, I had to go back to an earlier version.

Snagged this the other day, plus one for my dad's birthday, then mum ended up following suit. Great little tablets, the flexibility of that kickstand is really useful. As noted, the resolution is one of the weaker points (some of the text can be a little fuzzy, this seems to depend on the font), it's not bad though and is a nice quality display so for £99 you can't complain really. The speakers are great. No 4G-LTE, the description lies, but unlike Wifi-only Apple tablets it has GPS so you can tether to your phone and use it as a map or play Pokemon/Ingress/etc. (Pokemon has to be sideloaded)

Performs well enough, it'll never beat my phone (8GB RAM, octo core etc!) but I find tablets don't have as much need, I guess because all the background stuff is on the phone.

Tip: the Android 6.0 update WIPES your tablet, so do this first!! Don't spend hours setting it all up only to be faced with a destructive updates (you can decline it of course, but it's best to update it)

This or the tab 3 for 69.99 (also at Argos)?
I know the cpu/gpu is better in the tab 3 but is there much difference in real life?

I thought the cpu in Yoga was better then the Tab 3. Or am i wrong? I dont mind the screen resolution or the battery. I prefer better performance. Thats why i was hoping to keep the Yoga. Also, being able to root and install custom roms in the future is important. As it seems XDA has a section for Yoga 3 but not for the Tab 3, i guess because Yoga is more popular.

Anyone knows which of these 2 tablets faster performance wise? Tab 3 or Yoga 3?

The speakers in this are incredible. They blow my laptop away. Have never heard such loud and clear output from a tablet before.

Oh, and the battery life is exceptional.

I don't have both and have buyers bias, but would easily choose the Yoga. The kickstand thing is great and makes it so much more versatile than just a slate.

Thanks OP. I decided to go for this over the Lenovo Tab 3 even though I wanted a 10" screen. I am very happy that I did. The sound is excellent from the front facing speakers. The device is very solid and only slightly weighty which gives a feel of real quality. Screen is very good too. Just upgrading the firmware to version 6 which you can do straight out of the box on the device itself without having to link it to a PC. The case also comes with a screen protector and cleaning cloth. I ordered from Argos at about 2:50pm and it was delivered the same day at around 7pm. Quality service from Argos. The case looks very good indeed with a nice grey microfibre lining. I will probably be spending the next half an hour faffing around in the bathroom now trying to align the screen protector and making sure there are no dust particles underneath.

Very impressed with the quality of this tablet. If you are debating whether to get one I'd say go for it. Bargain @ £99. Before I bought this I went for the Kindle Fire deal @ £34.99 from Currys and had to take 4 back all with dead pixels. Really crappy tablet.
