Topcashback has 4% cash back on Lenove consumer goods at the moment.

The link says "Say goodbye to your TV"!
Do they seriously think I'm going to replace a large widescreen with a Lenovo Tab?
What planet do these marketing people live on?

Apart from an extra 16GB of storage, what has the Plus got over the standard Yoga 3 tablet?
That is £150 in Agros: http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6268286
Is the Plus worth an extra £80?
EDIT - Never mind - I just noticed the basic one is much lower resolution. That and the RAM alone make it worth upgrading!

Anyone know what shape screen this is, 4:3 or 16:9?

16:10. You can work that out yourself using the resolution, 2560 divided by 16 is 160. 1600 divided by 10 is 160. 16:10 aspect ratio.

I had been considered this tablet last week and I really wanted it to be good especially at this reduced price but it seems to have many faults if you read the lenovo forums. The main one being that it suffers audio sync issues with video playback, and streaming, like from Netflix or BBC iPlayer. Apparently this was address in an update to the software recently but man owners still claim the problem persists albeit less so. Also the screen is supposed to be not bright enough according to some reviews, and also have flickering issues. Then there's also the battery drain issues when in sleep mode.I'd steer clear if I were you guys. Maybe pay abit more for the Asus Zenpad 3s, currently on sale at Currys for £270 (cheapest it's been is £250).

1600 by 16 is 100 than 160:100 or 16:10

Yup, that's a better way of putting it!

heat from me! i bought this tab back in January for £249 and it's worth every penny. Had read about the audio issues but I've had no issues myself.

Anyone else think that Lenovo should've put an 800-series SoC in this thing?

By the way, they do have a habit of abandoning hardware after a short while. My Yoga Tab 1 and Tab 2 are virtually useless now with many of the bugs left unfixed, seems they haven't improved - just bear that in mind before dropping loads of money on one of these and see if you can live with that risk.

I was going to buy this until I hit the Lenovo forums.. Apparently Android updates are, essentially, non existent on this device.

I used to have the Yoga Tab 3 with the smaller 8" screen. I know the one I had has slower processor but The build quality is fantastic on this Yoga Tab 3 range, as is the battery life.

I don't think Nigel Farage would look good on any display.

Nice tab, I wanted to buy from John Lewis for 249 with two years warranty. I hope it has the same two years.

Genuine Question: why would anyone buy an Android (mobile OS) tablet at this price when you can buy a Windows10 device (desktop class OS) for the same money or less?

For me, Android just works. Its ease of use and reliability is superior to Windows. Windows may have broader functionality as a desktop platform, but Android is more than sufficient in terms of its applications and is better suited to tablet hardware IMO.

I have the first gen of this tablet and it is FANTASTIC. Throughly recommend this if it's an improvement.

More apps on Android and easier to use as a Tablet OS --> Windows is designed to be used with keyboard/mouse/touchscreen on tablets/laptops/desktops and they had to strike some compromises.

Main advantage for Windows (for me it is) is that you can actually do work on those (with keybord/mouse) and keep getting OS updates but then for media consumption I prefer Android

Does this support adoptable storage?

The reviews for this are pretty good.

Price back upto £249.99 (prob got greedy after seeing a lot of traffic coming from here). Better to buy from John Lewis now and get two year warranty and better service than Digital River (who are terrible).

I was setting this model up for my non-techy friend today .... She bought it from Argos ~250.

1. Received 2 software updates
2. The screen is much better than my 1080p LG tablet
3. Amazing sound for a tablet

I might get this to replace my aging LG tablet ... just love the sound quality of the Tab3.
