Thanks for the heat...I love tea, morning through to night - just having a mug now! I'm quite sure the medics will find it running through my veins LOL. ;-)

FYI.... to all tea lovers...

Went to my local Quality Save and picked up 300 Typhoo one cup tea bags for £2.49 a pack.

Better offers around?

We have Tetleys at work and it's not very nice tea. Really bland.

Stick to Yorkshire Tea.

I live in Yorkshire....I hate the stuff (Although I love Yorkshire itself)!

Tetleys has a fuller flavour, leave it to really 'mash' , add just a little bit of milk and drink whilst it's still really hot! Mmm Fantastic......

Voted Hot but I much prefer Yorkshire Tea or PG Tips than Tetley. I'm very picky when it comes to tea. Invite me for a cup of tea, if it turns out to be taste something else, I won't be back or may bring my own. I even bring my own Yorkshire Tea to work, can't stand the **** they offer me at work. I wouldn't have it if they offered it free. :whistling:

Ohhh...posh tea are we with cream clotted scones only from Betty's Café Tea Rooms, York. :p
I've seen some & plenty of the flavoured fruit & herbal tea varieties in the tea/coffee aisles of the big supermarkets that you can buy these days but never tried them. I wonder if any of these will make my **** (urine) smell nicer & fruitier. Won't need any bleach anymore. :-D

In the UK we consume about 130 000 tonnes of tea a year of which at least 95% is in teabags.

Come on. Co-Op are not that bad, the ethical trading, responsible retailing & Fairtrade are in most cases much more better than other supermarkets. They do offer BOGOF deals.

got to agree, co-op deals are generally quite poor i.e 2 for £2 when the individual items are £1.05 etc. pricewise they are very similar to Somerfield already, but their stores in general are pretty shoddy facilities wise.

doesn't bode well........

Our local co-op supermarket is fairly good pricewise, especially if you get your timing right for when they reduce meats/yoghurts/cheese etc at 8ish two hours before close you can actualy end up with money off the rest of your shopping as well as stocking the freezer with meats as bogof and multi-buy offers still get discounted at normal rates eg £2 packs of bangers on bogof reduced to 50p a pack means the reduced price goes through at 50px2 = £1 bogof discount = £2 so £1 off your regular shopping!

Nice find, voted hot, Tetley are the best Tea Bags available...;-)

I prefer Assam myself, a nice strong full-bodied cup o tea that.

I really like Assam tea.Never find it at 1p a bag though.
Yorkshire Tea is definitely stronger than Tetleys.
I'm on Yorkshire at the moment, after finishing off the Tetleys.

If you really like Tetleys you'll nearly always find 100 bag boxes in Poundland and the 99p shop.
The 99p shop used to do the 100 box catering bags which were great, as they had the drawstrings on them, but weren't there last time I visited
#23
or 100 tetley bags for 99p from 99p stores or £1 at poundland! great if you dont want 320! lol. plus cheaper than in supermarkets.

i just realised ive just repeated what stamfordblue just said! what a coincidence!
#25
Yes, cracking deals if you time it right for the markdowns....75 per cent off not uncommon. The trouble with the BOGOFS is the original price is way too inflated....eg 6 pack Walkers £1.45? I dont think so....more like £1.17

You must shop at the same places I do... :-D

I am also a Yorkshire Tea drinker, must be just right with the softer Dales water that we have round here.

I am off to Morrisons today though so may get these for work, although I may see how they stack up against own label brands first. £3.10 for 160 (normal price) is just crazy money.

netto are doing 1540 for £11.99 :)
