DDHE.co.uk have Lethal Weapon - the Complete Collection (4 DVD boxset) for just £5.99 inc Free UK delivery (possible misprice !!)

Next cheapest price is £11.99 @ HMV. Stars : Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, Joss Ackland, Joe Pesci, Rene Russo, Patsy Kensit, Gary Busey

Lethal Weapon : Buddy cops Martin Riggs and Murtaugh hit the screen exploding in the first installment of this hugely popular entertainment powerhouse. All the humor and adrenaline that made this original an entertainment milestone are here in this Director's cut version.

Lethal Weapon 2 : Riggs and Murtaugh return in another breathless battle on the streets of Los Angeles. It's police procedure, Lethal style. And it's yours to enjoy in this Director's cut version as the duo draws a head on criminals hiding behind diplomatic immunity.

Lethal Weapon 3 : The characters, action and comedy are back - plus something new. Riggs meets someone he never expected to find: his female alter ego, Lorna Cole. New scenes with Riggs and Murtaugh's daughter Rianne add subtext to his fighting-mad protectiveness in this Director's cut version.

Lethal Weapon 4 : Pure dynamite! The LETHAL WEAPON team has done it again, putting the match to the fuse and putting the WOW! back on the screen. Riggs' will he/won't he marriage to Cole is one of the new wrinkles in this high-voltage crowd-pleaser.

This is no longer available...i ordered last week and rang today, was told would not be honoured.

Great find... first of all.... I was going through checkout and about to put my card details in and noticed that the site is NOT secure there is no gold padlock in the bottom corner, which basically means hackers can take your card details while transfering the information to their site.

There is a gold pad lock unless you have not updated your operating system.

No defiantly not the operating system got the latest. I think it’s the new explorer 7 I have tried it with firefox and the padlock is there. Sorry for the scare anyone who bought it, but defiantly something to always look for (be aware).

And further to this I defiantly recommend firefox over explorer especially the new one which is trying to copy it with tabs and has failed.
#14
Superb, just bought 2!
#15
better than the hmv one, nice post.

although is this one the directors cut?? it says no extras in the info on the website, where as the hmv one clearly says directors cut and extras??
#16
Slightly off topic but a quick message for Hobo_United and others may find it useful as well.

With Internet Explorer 7 the padlock for secured sites has moved, it's now up the top to the right of the address bar. Threw me big time when I first switched to IE7

Good deal though, classic films (1-3 anyway!!).

Great find edi!!

I ordered one on 7th Dec and received the conformation email. But I hadn't receive it within a few days as their website suggested, so I checked my online account and my order was not there. Have just rang DDHE and they have cancelled my order saying that the boxset has been discontinued.

Not sure if they have or will process any orders for this boxset at this price, They don't seem to have the boxset on their website anymore.

Shame, it would have been a great deal. I believe all DVDs or Cds should not cost more than £2 each.

If anybody has any luck with this deal, please let me know.
#22
i ordered this on 7th dec but still havent recieved it.
I went to check my order status and its showing no orders?
I recieved the email with my order number....so whats going on?
Surely they should have let us know if its cancelled?

I got an email confirmation on the 9th, which says item will be dispatched in a few days. Nothing received so went to track order on their web site and it says "waiting for stock".

Gona try and call tomorrow.

I received an email today after emailing them to follow up my order. I am far from happy and would certainly advise everyone here to AVOID this company in the future.

I have since replied back to them with two emails. I am distgusted with their attitude so close to christmas. AVOID USING THEM!

_______________________

EMAIL ONE:

I cannot believe i have had to chase this order up myself to find this out. Especially at christmas.
And now you cancelling my order stating the item is out of stock. So basically if i order something from your website it may be already out of stock without the customer knowing and the customer will be messed around.

I certainly will not be using your company again and will record my bad experiance in the extensive web forums I am a memeber of to warn people of my experiance.

A such a late date to cancel my order without my wishes and not honour it with no previous communication. I get the feeling if i didnt contact you I would never have received any confirmation or order.

----------------

EMAIL TWO:

According to my web forums i am a member of no one has received their order at all of this item at all.
alot of people are talking about it and asking why they was not informed the item was out of stock during the order process or indeed informed via email.
A couple rang to follow their orders up worried. One was told by your company you was too busy to answer.
Hardly the way to increase your potential customer database. Bad word of mouth travel fast

------------------
#25
I too have been told that they are to busy to answer, left waiting 5min on the phone to hear that.....Disgraceful...i will also let them know my feelings with an email, i think others should follow suit, if they are unhappy
#26
I wouldnt take it to heart, most companies cancel misprices (exception seems to be HMV who honour them). I used this company when the had the complete Gerry Anderson collection (Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Stingray) for £40. They gave me a pretty prompt service with no problems.

I take to heart the way i was messed around and treated without communcation and having to chase this up so close to christmas. Everyone has had bad customer services experiance it seems from this company on this. If anyone is happy to be treated this way then sure go ahead and use them lol. I'll take my business elsewhere. A customer should be treated as one.
#28
This is the email i got back from DD.
--------------------------
Unfortunalty your order has been cancelled as we have been unable to obtain any further stock of this item. A letter will be in the post to you today explaining the problem that we have encountered with our suppliers.

I sincerely apologise for any disappointment caused, no payment has been taken from your account therefore, a refund is not necessary.

Once again please accept our sincere apologise for any inconvenience caused

I bet they have done a gamestation special and cancelled orders without telling any one.

I would suspect my one has been cancelled too. Hate companies that fail to communicate us on our orders.

On the face of it this was a great deal that edi posted.Unfortunately this company has let a lot of people down.If it was a misprice then all orders should have been cancelled immediately and people should have been emailed as such.If this had been done in a timely manner than all these dissapointed folks could have then taken advantage of the HMV deal of the day when this was offered at £7.99.I think companies like this should be blacklisted on this forum. Is there anyway that this can be done within these forums.? A simple warning when a search is done for companies perhaps, stating the bad experiences that members have had.A star system next to their names,***** for good,* for s**t, etc.

101CD is company that definately deserves some sort of blacklist. They make a habit of messing up their prices and not honouring them.

and this item is still on the website so you can order

The best place to do this is in each relevant thread, as people who have bad experiences will post more than those who have a good one.

Some retailers do read these forums and can sometimes provide a better service once they see where they've gone wrong.
#34
Exactly TongPo - they didnt inform us they had cancelled our orders - we had to contact them ourselves to find this out (as i stated above). Hardly customer friendly especially at this time of year to not communicate. Vote with your money and take business elsewhere. Avoid www.ddhe.co.uk

Surprise, surprise they have not replied back to any of my two follow up emails (above) explaining my disgust of their treatment of customers. Not only in emails but on the phone from, what people say above, have they messed people around whom simply wanted to know what was happening with there order and why it had not arrived.

AVOID www.DDhe.co.uk in the future
#35
Thanks for the feedback guys, it's useful to know and note for the future!

luckily i went with my original post of hmv.co.uk, it was £2 more ( well £1.20 more once quidco was added). i have this morning, a shiny new boxset.

just got a 2nd class letter through the post saying that my order has been cancelled because it has been discontinued. (i ordered it when the day this post was put on and only just heard from them!) Nice.. looks like i'll be running around like a mad woman trying to get it from somewhere else in time for christmas now!! And i thought i had got such a good deal too

The annoying thing is that i tried reordering it from the website and it still lets you @ £5.99 still! That shouldnt be allowed.
#40
i warned them bad word of mouth travels fast.

I also told them to remove the link if the item was not available.

they told me they was in process of deleting the item from their website. bit late now. not sure if they have or not yet. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and not very customer friendly at all.

AVOID www.ddhe.co.uk

We really need a black list on the home back of this website for companies to AVOID
