Just been to my local tescos (Silverburn) where they are selling all 3 flavours of Levi Root's sauces, Reggae Reggae sauce, Guava dipping sauce and Love Apple Sauce for just 99p each, I think these usually sell for £1.99 each.
Not sure if its online aswell.

Cheers. been using this lately, all i eat all weekdays is turkey breast and as you can guess its a bit boring, marinated in this and grilled is lush tho!

Any ideas what you can do with this apart from marinading meat? I don't eat meat but I've always wanted to try this sauce...just not sure what I could do with it.

Its nice sauce, but the sell by date if usually a month after you first use it and that's even when I left it in the fridge. Now we consume quite a bit of sauce, ketchup, brown sauce so we thought we would try this. Very nice it is too but I think sell by date puts me off as we had to throw much of it out. I also find Morrison's in my location which I bought last lot from, don't stock it now

You can use it just as a table sauce to dip your chips in etc.. its good stuff but once you open a bottle it doesn't last long. Famously has no preservatives in!

I remember seeing this stuff on Dragon's Den & Peter Jones invested in it. Always fancied trying it, now I will!

My local Tesco's Silverburn as well, so will have a wee look next time I'm in.

Funny this one..

Normally £1.49, when launched Tesco refused to buy, only Sainsbury's took it with some nice promo shelf stuff in some areas.

Great stuff.

voted HOT!!!

don't forget the cook book is only £7.49 @ amazon!!!

some good recipes and some duff ones (reggae reggae cheese on toast!!!)
#14
Just in case anyone isn't aware - the 'love apple sauce' is actually a damned fine spicy ketchup!!
Apparently, 'love apple' is slang for tomato in certain circles/areas.

Apologies if that was obvious to anyone.

Has to be used within 5 days if I remember rightly from last summer. Goes down lovely with barbequed food.
#16
No preservatives is certainly a good thing. Bet you could push 1.5 weeks out of it, probably more.

Not going to kill you anyways, it's just spices and that.

(ps, havent tried it but certainly will at this price).

Hot.

Dragons Den is a self fullfiling prophecy.

Never in a million years, would anyone invest in a sauce, there are already too many around.

BUT, invest in it on TV and voila, hey presto " as seen on tv " sauce ! sucess guaranteed....

Im gonna apply for the new DD series, I think my new sauce idea will be unbeatable, gonna call it " cream-of-sumyunguy "

cats, if it is indeed that easy, why isnt this your sauce then aye?

thought so.:)
