Description
Jerk/BBQ.

Put some music in your food.
Our family in Jamaica have been blending home-made Jerk/Barbecue sauce since way back, and for years it's been the taste of London's Notting Hill Carnival.

It's still a secret, entrusted to me by my grandmother, but now the treasure has been bottled so I can share Reggae Reggae Sauce with you all! You can use it as a marinade for flavoursome jerk/BBQ chicken or with other meat/vegetables...Or try a generous splash on the side of almost anything...Or when cooking to give your dishes a hint of warm Jamaican sunshine!

It even makes a perfect dip.

Go on...Tune into the flavours and put some music in your food.

One Love.

Also same price in farmfoods for those who don't find it in Tescos.

Quite easily one of the best BBQ sauces out there (I think only Cattlemens is better though this is actually spicier and a very different type of BBQ taste) and at this price as steal. Worth stocking up as they're normally about £2 a bottle. Have some more heat!

has been at this price in ff for ages!
#13
Its permanently £1 at Farmfoods, unlike Tesco who tries to make it sounds like an offer for couple of weeks and then goes back to over charging us as usual.

..and that is why it's a sauce not a ketchup :-P

But yes I have made the odd mistake with it :-D

Great sauce and a great price. Paid £1.55 in 'good old' Co-op only two nights ago..

Used some tonight in some spicy wraps :)

what would you class HP Brown sauce as then?
#23
Grabbed a bottle of this at this price a few days ago. I've stopped using brown sauce and use this instead as it's a tad spicier. Good stuff, and a great price...

Typical journalist. Takes ONE quote, that the half-sister doesn't KNOW if the grandmother passed down the secret recipe, and builds a story around it.

There are things I don't know about my grandmother, but that doesn't mean they can be construed as fact! :whistling:

Ya, man - it's a runnier and more piquant HP - man, it's got the fiercest hot pepper - Scotch Bonnet of Big Bro torture fame. Big up to Farmfoods at £1 - don't keep it by the HP sauce as I tipped a half bottle into a pasta sauce thinking it was as thick as HP. Now I recommend it as a remedy for dry contact lens eye.
