Levi Roots Reggae Reggae Sauce only 96p @ Sainsburys, was £1.45

Description
Jerk/BBQ.

Put some music in your food.
Our family in Jamaica have been blending home-made Jerk/Barbecue sauce since way back, and for years it's been the taste of London's Notting Hill Carnival.

It's still a secret, entrusted to me by my grandmother, but now the treasure has been bottled so I can share Reggae Reggae Sauce with you all! You can use it as a marinade for flavoursome jerk/BBQ chicken or with other meat/vegetables...Or try a generous splash on the side of almost anything...Or when cooking to give your dishes a hint of warm Jamaican sunshine!

It even makes a perfect dip.

Go on...Tune into the flavours and put some music in your food.

One Love.

thats a good price, i am sure i saw this sauce at Morrisons for similar price as i brought a couple of them and use them on anything i eat! except milk
#2
Its better as a marinade, its rather strong as a sauce or dip.
#3
saw in tesco other night 99p, not sure which sauce it was
#4
I thought it was a gimmick until I tried some, it's a very nice indeed, go through a bottle every 2 weeks, very nice on a sausage sandwich.

Voted Hot, picked some up today from Sainsbury's anyway at this price, all other varities of his sauce were full price except for this classic version.

Racist.

To post a comment like that into a thread about the price of a jar of sauce, regardless if the guy likes it or not is sad..... very sad indeed.

Yes the Reggae Reggae Ketchup is much much better to be on the side of the plate or as a dip.

Agreed.

I guess the racist is the person saying "racist" as he made the link between someone not liking something "which we all do to things" and because the guys black.

Next we'll be banning whiteboards, blackboards,

I get the feeling the Racist jibe was made by a troll. Get a life.

Completely agree, although, you'll be sad to know that blackboards ARE banned. They're now called 'Chalk Boards'. Not sure about whiteboards though, think they're still OK for the moment.

Oh, and as far as the sauce goes, it is pretty naff. I heard it was much better before it was mass produced, but as it stands, its extremely disappointing and seems to have been mass produced for the turkey twizzlers generation.

oh and i think the 'racist' comment was a joke. i dont think anyone would label someone a racist for not liking the taste of a carribean based sauce. get a sense of humour
