Where do you get 501's for £25?

I can't force myself to buy levis in this country when you can get them for £15 in the States. It is worth a trip to the USA every few years just to stock up at that price!

you can get raw apcs for the same price as some of those levis.

for any one who doesnt no what raw denim is

Dry or raw denim, as opposed to washed denim, is a denim fabric that is not washed after being dyed during its production. Over time, denim will generally fade, which is often considered desirable.
Most denim is washed after being crafted into an article of clothing in order to make it softer and to eliminate any shrinkage which could cause an item to not fit after the owner washes it. In addition to being washed, non-dry denim is sometimes artificially "distressed" to achieve a worn-in look.
Much of the appeal of dry denim lies in the fact that with time the fabric will fade in a manner similar to factory distressed denim. With dry denim, however, such fading is affected by the body of the person who wears the jeans and the activities of their daily life. This creates what many enthusiasts feel to be a more natural, unique look than pre-distressed denim.
To facilitate the natural distressing process, some wearers of dry denim will often abstain from washing their jeans for more than six months,[3] though it is not a necessity for fading. Often, enthusiasts will just hang their unwashed denim to help get rid of the smell.

Why do you mention you can get raw denim for the same price as levis as though raw denim is better than levis??? People tend to buy raw denim as they like the unique fades which can be achieved via extensive wear of raw denim jeans.... but for most levis will suffice....

nice jeans but way out of my price range

Paid just under £20 a pair at Sears/HBC in Canada a few weeks ago.

Levis prices in the UK are a rip-off.

Normally get mine on eBay from USA and pay £20-£25 including delivery - they normally turn up in about 5 days.

I bought a pair of Levis in Canada back in 2003 for the princely sum of CAN$9  they are just about falling apart now :?

My best ever deal was a pair of Levis from Target in the USA at a whopping $3.97 :whistling:

UK/EU prices are scandalous :x

The Levi shop in Portsmouth often have 2 for £50 on their jeans, so that makes it worth it. Not sure which 'model' they are though. Prefer 618's myself as they are a bit baggier...though i dont think they make them any more :(

Did i say raw denim was better then levis? all i said was for the same price you can get raw denim, and actually the apcs are made of 12oz denim so should technically be better quality.

Since most raw denim is made in japan and is hand made the majority of people actually say raw denim is alot higher in quality, but you can get raw levis aswell.

and yes you are spot on about the unique fades as every pair fades depending on the person who is wearing them.

This is a good place to check out
