Almost bought one of these yesterday for £39.99 but when I've came back on today there a little cheaper... Always a good thing :-)

At the moment I have the very similar version Lexar s23 64gb and it's awesome, really good speeds and works perfectly on my TV/Blu-ray player with MKV files. I've had other USB 3 memory stick but they lacked in speeds.

This even has Amazon Prime so you can get it delivered a lot quicker 'if' you have Prime of course lol.

Seen a LOT worse. Toshiba for example with 10-12

I have the 64GB version of this, my MKV files work on some TVs and not on others (even the case with different LG models) which is really annoying when you get to a hotel ready for some entertainment. I'm also shocked it has lasted as the build quality is pretty lame.

If that's your entertainment in a hotel room, you're doing it wrong.

On a side note, the lack of codecs on the TV is the reason a particular TV won't play mkv, it has nothing to do with the storage device used.

Good price for 128gb, regardless of transfer speeds.

I'd agree with the comment about poor build quality, they are so flimsy.
I've had 2 Lexar drives die on me and it's extremely frustrating. I guess there could be something wrong with my usb 3 port that's frying them but I've only had the problem with Lexar. I'd never buy another.

Haha I meant the USB drive simply isn't recognised, not that the MKVs won't play.

Can't say I've experienced anything like that.
I've got loads of these drives (various capacities) and never had any issue with them.
Transfer speeds are not bad either. I see around 30MB/s via USB 3.0

I'd say this is again due to the TV and not drive

If reduced from 5 grand to 39.99 people wouldn't care but you mention its dropped by about 3 quid over night and "Hello baby here comes the heat wave badge cha-ching" I love HUKD ha

Heat added

The s23 I have is a bit flimbsy but it's done the job for months now with no problems, I think this one is better build quality than the older model :-)

Some (many) hotels cripple their TVs to try & make you watch their Pay TV porn - er, I mean, movies.
