Always thought when you get to this size/price a small portable 1T harddrive starts to look better value
My seagate weights/size no bigger than my phone...cost £38 on offer about double... but more than double
size and faster... ;)

Connector is a bit flimsy tbh.
Decent though for £20.

Depends on the usage. HDD's are relatively fragile compared to something like this. £/GB there is no contest though :p

Yep, I dropped my HDD flat from the height of my hand onto my desk whilst it was off. It was a minor drop, but enough to bust it. So, USB is definitely more robust.

You'd also be pushing it to get 150MB/s read speed from a 5400rpm 2.5 HDD.

Hard drives are more power hungry too if you just want something "always on" to store music centrally in your house.

Anyone had a problem with Lexar reliability?

I dropped my USB stick about the same and it broke too :D Was a cheap one though from when 8gb was expensive.

Can it be formatted to FAT32 with no loss of GB? If yes how?
