Half decent brand and under £1 / GB. If you are just using as storage for music on your mobile then there is nowt wrong with Class 4 memory cards and it is a good saving on Class 10.

Thanks for the post, might be just the thing for me.

Although there are those who will opt for the cheap class 10 card above, I think I'm among those who will stick with a branded card from one of the big manufacturers like Lexar. I wouldn't risk my data with an el cheapo card. Just my two pence.
Heat!

Would get the class 10 thats mentioned above, not sure this would work in most of the newer cameras. I bought the TZ10 a few months ago and had to buy a class 10 becuase it said the card i had wasnt fast enough to record to, so check before buying this is going to be acceptable for what you need :{

Have to say that the evidence on the HUKD thread is pretty damning for that particular micro SD Card (I was considering it to go with my new Galaxy S2). On the other hand this one seems to have tested to write at 11.5MB/s (i.e. pretty fast)

To my knowledge the only common consumer use that requires any faster than that is 1080P video capture. There are very few phones that capture that high so this card should be fine for 720P (about 7mb/s on a Desire). By the time you upgrade your phone again the 32GB cards will be this price :)

Your likely to get unbranded one.
See link posted to relevant page on this one.

I'd guess so. I am presuming if I buy, say a class 6 card, that is fine for simply storing data / a phone that doesn't do HD video?

Class 2 should be fine for that. Main issue with the lower class cards for general storage is that they take a while to transfer the data too.

not a bad deal.

Yes, but it took a while for moderation so didn't want to mislead in the meantime.

16GB for under 14quid seems very good. Good enough for storage

I have the class 10 one. Works fast via Ian adaptor 10 mbs approx. Slower in my phone by a Mile. HTC desire. still good value but I thinly if you want one to use in your phone you won't notice any difference between class 4 and class 10.

Showing as "Awaiting stock" now

I hear their supplier moved at the end of April which is why there have been delays. Stock should be coming through very soon though. Cracking deal - it cant last for long - If you look at Dram Exchange the cost per GB on the spot market is higher than this.

Ordered 2 - thanks OP.

Great... thanks guys for your advice.. i ahve been trying to determine the whole Class 2,4,6,8,10 thing for ages...

Be really good to have a table showing what you would be able to do with each.. i'e watch video, play games etc..

I've no idea how much data pull there is with phone, camera, tablet usage ??

Yeah, but that was close to 2 months ago... You can re-post an expired deal after 4 weeks I think
