Change delivery time for free delivery.

With a busy life on the go and so much to do, the last thing you want is to spend extra time waiting for your files to transfer. Now you can step up to the next level of performance-and take advantage of the USB 3.0 port on your new laptop or computer-with the Lexar JumpDrive S73 USB 3.0 flash drive.

The drive leverages SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology to deliver faster file transfer in a range of colours and capacities from 8GB-64GB. With speeds up to 3x faster (up to 45MB/s read and 20MB/s write) than standard JumpDrive USB 2.0 drives, the Lexar JumpDrive S73 USB 3.0 flash drive gives you the power, for example, to quickly, easily, and reliably transfer a 3GB HD video clip in less than 2 minutes (compared to less than 20 minutes using a standard USB 2.0 drive). Leveraging the efficiencies of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 technology, it provides impressive high-speed transfer of your photos, videos, files, and more-for only slightly more than the cost of a standard USB 2.0 flash drive. And for added versatility, the drive is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices.

Thanks.

I have had a 32GB one of these for a year or so. It has been in my pocket. Sometimes the slide out plug gets stuck.I don't know if this is because of debris.

I've been looking for a cheap USB 3 drive. There are a few other sizes available too: http://www.ebuyer.com/search?q=S73 They all have free next day delivery. The 8GB one (£3.59) doesn't have that listed, and it came up as having £3 postage initially, but the second stage of the checkout added free delivery.

A lot of the ebay ones are fakes which are extremely unreliable, a relative bought one once and it was pot luck whether it could read/write to the memory stick. I would personally never trust the cheap ebay ones and pay that extra for a branded one.

I have had one for more than a year - paid considerably more for it. It is not military grade (which you don't get for this kind of price) but it works and works well.

Tends to overheat and lose files if streaming videos off it so dont get it for that...

I have one of these. I bought it in July 2013 when it was on promotion for £11.99 ebuyer. It is reliable but had some problems getting it to recognise in some appliances. Sometime you just have to jiggle it to get it to come on lol. I made a YouTube review and speed benchmarks at the time, it's here if anyone wants to check it out http://youtu.be/RdVXSr5z3SM

I have never lost a file with this drive. My drive does not overheat. People were claiming that the sandisk ultra fit overheats and I have one and it does not overheat on my computers.

Just as a side note. I do prefer the sandisk ultra fit that was recently in promotion, than this drive. I get 170 MB/s read with the sandisk, this one is only 40 MB/s read. The sandisk peaks at 55 MB/s write and this one is only 33 MB/s

What seems to be your issue with me all of sudden? Did I say anything to offend you in the past or of late? Would you like it I started making silly comments to your comments? I just made the comment about buying the sandisk ultra fit after demonkinight9's comment about the usb stick...do people on hukd have to make a comment or not depending if people care or not...some [HELPER] you are...

It's a great flash drive. not the fastest writing speed but then again it's cheap. My bluray player now accesses files so quick, its amazing how fast it is, for a standalone bluray player that is.

Might be a pointless comment, but not a big deal really is it - a helper making a nasty/rude comment is rather worrying though !

If I put one into my shopping basket, there are various expensive shipping rates listed, as well as £2.98 for supersaver delivery. If I then click the checkout button and log in, it says that I have been upgraded to free next day delivery. I ordered them on Friday evening and they arrived on Monday at lunchtime.

Oh, interesting. Thanks. I wouldn't of thought of doing that.
