I've read quite a few reviews before I pick it, they unanimously praise it as great value-for-money and I couldn't find anything faster at similar price right now.

Amazon sells the 32GB version for £19.99 and the 128GB version for £55

The reason these drives cost more is because of their high read/write speeds. However userbenchmark only ranked them as thirtieth

Interesting how varied the results among userbenchmark users can be. I wonder if that is an indicator of a large number fakes sold as genuine?

Very poor consistency
The range of scores (95th - 5th percentile) for the Lexar JumpDrive P20 USB 3.0 64GB is 74.7%. This is a particularly wide range which indicates that the Lexar JumpDrive P20 USB 3.0 64GB performs inconsistently under varying real world conditions.

Still, worth mentioning that on that ranking there are external SSD drives included (i.e. D3 Station 2TB) and that the cheapest drive of that capacity I found on the higher-ranking models was much more expensive (~£65 VS £40).

I also find strange that Lexar P10 is ranked 10th at userbenchmark, while it's an older, discontinued model that was replaced by P20.

A problem with their rating methodology that I see is that they pool together the scores from users that tested on USB 2 and USB3 hosts.

In any case, I'll report back when I've received it

cheers

I have received it (it's genuine) and, as promised, here are the results (very similar to steffcip's).

At random writes, it is crazy slow until about 32K. On sequential speeds however it is really fast, even though it achieves so by bursty patterns. Overall, it's great for reading and writing large files fast, it's atrocious for using as a "live" drive (i.e. running IO demanding software directly from it). For the latter, my Samsung FIT is infinitely better for almost half the cost.
