Fantastic deal if you like standing and eating.

Does this come as a flat pack?

Edit: Just noticed it is self assembly, means I can stash it away until I need it.

£200 for a decent table and chairs, and you make out this is steep. I thought I was tight.

Perfect thank you!
Replaces my previous "Bargain Crazy" table and chairs we got for £120 a few years back. Keep the chairs, replace the glass table with this one which matches our new decor.
Bargain!

voted hot thanks ... just order one, can't go wrong for 40 quid..................

Almost worth getting for my wood burner!!

I'm looking for a dining table at the moment and this is very hot!

It's just a shame that it's too large for my kitchen.
#26
Shame no reviews for either table or chairs, strange that as it's a clearance item.
#27
thanks, bought one, was looking for one after our current caught fire this christmass
#28
Crazy Tesco - says £750 for the table and six chairs as a set! Mad.
#29
thanks, just ordered, and like another poster said, hopefully better quality than their sofa's!
#30
Its actually £123 for a pair of chairs for the table advertised. £123 x 3 (cause it fits 6 chairs) £369 + £40.75 = £409.75 for this. Cold from me. unless you want it as a cheap work bench in which case its a bargain!!

Just wanted to say thanks for posting this. We've been after a bargain oak table for a while now.

Also, thanks to the OP for pointing out this new price. If I could add heat 10 times I would!
#32
Sounds like a good price ... shame I can't order, or even browse the Tesco Direct website since I have a Mac :(
#33
We have an oak table and chairs bought last month from Tesco, paid just over £200 with 4 chairs in the sale. The table top although veneer scratches VERY easily. I would buy the table at £40 as a spare but it looks lighter so it wouldn't match the chairs. Damn hot price all the same!

Really? I've just viewed the site with Mac OS Safari and Firefox with no problems, must be something else.

Damn I never saw the oak one. I need to cancel order..

I remember Tesco Direct having problems a while back, but I've had zero issues for ages.

Snow Leo and Safari 5.0.3 or the latest Firefox beta run it perfectly, so it's something you should be able to fix on your end.

Googled "Tesco Direct Safari" and the first hit has a workaround of disabling Javascript;

That said, all I've ever done is apply my software updates and any problems disappeared a long time ago.
