I thikn that the refills will be just as much, but at this price don't bother with the refills, just get a new printer and use the old one as a scanner only or sell it for £5! :)

Correct, these are often referred to as disposable printers.

Its a waste really, but its the cheapest thing to do.

Can someone help me out. I'm really struggling to find a new printer with low running costs. I was looking at the R265 but it's £30 for a new set of catridges. At the moment I pay £2 for a colour and £1.50 for a B&W catridge for my epson 880.

What printer do you guys/gals use / recommend? I'd like an epson r220 but you can't get them now. Anything similar out there with decent ink prices? I won't pay more that £12ish for a set of refills it's madness.

Thanks

Pete

Hello Pete

Well, if you are paying £3.50 for a complete refill/replacement of the cartridges, then I would say thats pretty good really. I would struggle to recommend anything cheaper. Of course others might have better ideas.. I will be keen to know about them too! :)

A epson R200/220 is dirt cheap to use, and is really good quality.
