Ok it was my first deal, so help me improve, and tell me why the cold rating?
Looks ok to me, maybe the cartridges are too expensive for most people?
Ok it was my first deal, so help me improve, and tell me why the cold rating?

Because its a lexmark. They sell their printers at a loss only to make a fortune with their cartridges.

I wouldnt buy this for £5 but thats my opinion.
The cartridges are available from amazon at around £9 each, that not cheap I agree, but unless you intend to do a lot of printing (running a business or printing 3 Phd theses), you'll only have to spend that a few time a year. You have to take into account the size of the cartidge as well, the lexmark ones are quite big. My previous printer was a HP the cartridge were much smaller and I changed them only twice a year.
My problem was no space near my pc, so I needed a wifi printer that I could put somewhere else. And the lexmark does just that, plus colour copies plus scanner, it's smart looking can print straight from my sd card or digital camera, and at 1/2 the Argos price, I still think it's a very good deal...
But I'm just sharing, it's up to you to make your own mind...
sounds good to me. Trouble is people just give cold for the sake of it. Everything I put on gets cold votes so now I dont bother. Simply means that only the old people who started this are still around and the newer ones have got bored. Shame I like the site but dont often give an input, even if it is good. For example not so long ago Boots made a mistake with the Tassimo cartridges and were charging a £1 a box instead of 4 boxes for £10 I got loads and so did my friends but thought whats the point of telling anyone else because there is so much negativity.
Right I will get off my soap box now. Still a good site and thanks for all my savings :)
