Cold. It uses the older combined colour cartridges and print quality isn't great.

Ink costs for lexmarks are awful. IMHO pay more for a better printer, lowers the TCO :)

I disagree that the 'separate colour' cart approach is automatically cheaper - in some cases it actually increases costs significantly.

NO printer has cheap running costs nowadays unless you use remanufactured or third-party carts - and £70 isn't bad value for a multifunction which is wireless AND a fax (the latter is fairly rare these days).

I'd say if you don't NEED the fax, buy something else - and be aware that wireless printers often have poor range and it's just 1 more thing to make printers even fiddlier and faffier than usual too!!

People should check ink costs before leaping but HP, Canon and Epson are equally able to gouge your eyes out for ink and Dell seem to have turned it into an artform!!!
#6
way to expensive, with other cheaper ink refill printer brands all in ones going for much less too.
#7
I find the ink really expensive for lexmark better off with a dearer make and save in the long run..
#8
I'll restate what I said earlier - if you want the Fax part this is a good deal, but if you don't need that there are other wireless all-in-one printers for a similar price.

I know Fax is kinda dead now but some people still need it and it's nice not to be locked into a cheap machine which uses hugely expensive paper... :)
