How much better are these contact paints compared to standard dulux paints?

love this paint nice to work with great coverage and not like p1ss like some of them good find

I have always found Dulux wipeable brilliant white excellent if you do one thing the pot doesn't tell you to do - water down to 8:1. When you don't it goes on thick and dries with hairline cracks. Haven't tried this stuff yet. We used to use Leyland at work many years ago and it was good stuff then. Painting structural steelwork with Leyland Gloss in Ford blue was the job given by the boss to those labourers that used to come to work in £80 trainers - they only did it once! X)

I am a decorator and this gear is meant to be used on new plaster it is contract matt it has no vinyl in it (why it is cheap) its still good stuff and can be used on previous painted walls but not as hard wearing as vinyl matt

I've used this a lot covering up bare (previously wallpapered walls) and have found it brilliant. Much better coverage than Dulux standard emulsion (which i think dries slightly yellow as well). Highly recommended and great at this price.

Also worth noting, the cheaper stuff mentioned in previous posts is also pretty good considering the price.

Local B&Q had 5Ltrs of B15 Magnolia for £4 a tub.

Our BTL is now becoming B15 Magnolia. Poor Tenants

Used 4 pots of this around the house, excellent paint and not thin like done of the cheaper ones tend to be!!!

I've just been in my local Dulux decorator centre & they're selling 2 x contract matt 10ltr for £25 that's only £12.50 each for pbw or magnolia. Its the Glidden range now called Armstead. I've used Glidden for years & its the best contract matt I can find.
