What does the buying them cost more if buying a set than the pair individual that this shop seems to do,seems a bit potty?

Huh? I couldn't make any sense of your post

Translation: Seems a bit potty that buying them as a pair individually costs less than buying them as a set.

Cheers OP. Bought a pair with a pack of puncture repair patches for £1.80, taking it just over £9 for free delivery.

I nearly bought one of the front lights last time they were on offer, but I'd much prefer it to come with a bracket to permanently fix to the handlebar as opposed to having to stretch the mount over - I've not got much space on my bars so it makes these a bit of a pain. Shame.

Cheers - hot - ordered!

Cheerz for the heads-up OP.
Ordered front & rear and a cheap mudguard.
Wouldn't let me use Paypal for some reason.

Lezyne stuff is good quality if a tad over priced. If looking for lights solarstorm x3 from ebay is a far better option, there is no way you wont be seen with them.
#15
What's the difference with pro and non pro in terms of usage and quality?
#16
Can't fault price but 70 lumens? Not that bright really I have the 800XL front light which goes to 800 lumens
#17
prices have gone down for the front @£2.99 and @3.49 for the rear
#18
Thanks OP, ordered three!
#19
ordered for use as extra be-seen lights. Hopefully the rear light will fit on my crash hat. To get to over £9 for free P&p I added 2 Coke branded water bottles at £1.99 each.

be aware that, most reviews indicated that after one winter those lights can't hold charge, so you can't use literally unless you throw whole thing in the bin , I have also ordered now need to return though .

They are £15. These are £3. And you say these are over priced. Yet I still searched ebay in case you had a point. Nevermind.

Yes but how many disposable batteries do you throw away with other lights? Guess it depends if you use rechargeable batteries in your bike lights normally.

Identical quality, the pro model is a more powerful front light. The normal KTV is for being seen with, not for lighting the road, illuminating obstacles, etc.

Totally different type of lights. It's not better if you want something you can keep in your pocket, charge at work in your pc sub ports, etc. Nevermind that Lezyne are a company that makes quality products with a warranty and not a faceless Chinese wholesaler who hasn't put a fuse in the charger.

Great price for branded lights with a warranty. Not the brightest but great as an extra light or backup.

Is that because over spring and summer they didn't then charge and use them for all that period? I would suggest that all rechargeable batteries should be used and charged every so often regardless.

I've got the 600XL which suddenly stopped powering on (would also charge forever without completing). Used maybe once a week since purchase to ensure it was never left to flatten.

Lezyne repaired it within about 10 days but I'm just more concerned if it died while out riding. Brilliant beam pattern and flood of light but people are right to question the reliability

Heat added for the prices but I'm not sure I'd want my backup to be lezyne too (although you could argue the chance of both failing at the same time is remote).

I never ride with only one light at the back or front.
Decathlon do great little lights for £8.50 (£15 for a pack of 2) that are tiny, charge from a standard USB connector, can be fixed anywhere and can be used either front or rear (they have a red LED and a white LED). They're the ideal spare light in case either fails.
But at this price I'd be tempted just to buy 2 of each of these Lezynes! Sure they might fail, but a 2 year warranty still makes them great value.

I second the recommendation of two lights. Better still, ensure at leastone of them is a powerful one ljke a Smart 1/2 watt. Put it this way, your lif is worth more than 8 pounds.

Can't fault price but 70 lumens? Not that bright really I have the 800XL front light which goes to 800 lumens

I had the 800XL - Very bright light, was very pleased with it until I came to charge it for only the 5th time. Unfortunately when inserting the supplied USB cable into the light to charge the unit, the socket came away from the circuit board and is now firmly attached to the cable instead. Seems to be a weak point in what is otherwise a good light. I am now in the process of a returning to CRC who will hopefully issue a refund. Have replaced the light with an Exposure Strada 800 which was substantially more expensive but is a much better light and much better quality.

Not if they're pointing downwards like most sensible and courteous cyclists would do.
