I think he means why would you bother with a VGA monitor in 2014. Rightly so too, cold.

Sorry OP but have to agree with others, VGA is just old tech, £30 is about right for a new one of these and £5 at a car boot.

Might be a deal in your eyes but these can be had anywhere if you really must have one.

Still lots of devices which have VGA output.
For £65 its a cheap second monitor for a laptop or for a childs computer.

VGA may be old tech, but it is still very widely used tech. It is still used on a lot of office PCs and laptops often still come with VGA outputs (not ultrabooks). Still a useful deal for some people. It is a low-end office style monitor after all.

Cheap? No.
Post or link to a new 19.5" LED monitor for less then £65 delivered then.

So you're comparing second-hand 1280x1024 non-widescreen monitors with a new widescreen 1600x900 one? Hardly a valid comparison.

Good deal for anyone needing a small screen and has a VGA output (which includes just about every laptop not made by Apple).

Good replacement for my game cabinet, which needs VGA, cheers ;-)

Wonder what the viewing angles are like on this?
had some bad experiences with cheap Acer monitors, hope this LG does not fall in that category
