The LG 22LH2000 is an HD Ready LCD TV with a sleek design, Twin XD Engine, 24p Real Cinema, Invisible Speakers with SRS TruSurround XT, as well as AV Modes for Cinema, Sports, and Games -in short, everything you need to bring the HD experience home.

This TV from LG has HDMI 1.3, which supports 30-bit, 36-bit, and 48-bit colour depth. HDMI 1.3 eliminates on-screen colour banding for smooth tonal transitions and subtle gradations. It also enables increased contrast ratio, and represents many times more shades of grey between black and white.

Sound isn't forgotten either - LG's Invisible Speaker System has been fine-tuned by world-renowned audio expert Mark Levinson for an increased sweet spot. Breaking through the fixed idea that speaker grills must be exposed, this system provides a fully realized sweet spot, and powerful, realistic sound with speakers integrated into the panel design. The Clear Voice feature adjusts the sound balance to emphasise voices and reduce background noise when watching films.

Finally, as well as having a built-in Freeview digital tuner, this set is Energy Saving recommended, so it uses less energy.

Was i given duff information when i phoned my local sainsburys,as they told me their price was £80 more than the web price,i must admit when i was talking to them they seemed more interested in getting rid of me------ i was left hanging on for 15 minutes------then someone put the phone back on the reciever so i had to phone again------- i sometimes wonder if they want your custom.

I haven't physically seen the sets for sale but I'm reliably informed they are on sale in store at the price detailed over at the Cov and Kenilworth branches, maybe Duggie_22 can confirm.

Very pleased with the price.

Looks good, shame it's come on a week before we go to Malaysia so money is allocated to that until we get back grr.

Voted hot.

Very tempted. Can anyone confirm it comes with DVI and VGA connectors as well as HDMI? Shame it only does 1300 res. Would probably make a monitor too, if it did 1680 x 1050.

A little worried about the reports of sound lag.

Shame it took so long to get hot, hopefully there's still plenty available.

@poster above it has both aswell as 1 hdmi and 2x scarts:thumbsup:

Brought this tv last night from my local sainsburys (tamworth) .....they had 3 in stock and was expecting more today :)
Set it up last night and got to say the picture Q is really nice a crsip with good colours ....but also the sound was really nice and not as tinny as some of the smaller size lcds.
The freeview worked a treat aswell ......i just connected a cheap £4.99 aerial to it and it picked every channel up fine .
Regarding the laggy in speak .....no such thing, well not with what i've tested on it.

Also first thing i did was the usb hack and thats worked a treat aswell .....well worth doing and easy to do.But if you following the instructions .....theres a part that says hold the ok button for 5 secs .....now this wasn't working but after some more researching i found you need to hold the ok button on the tv aswell and the remote ;-)

But yeah i downgraded it to 3.15 as it came with 3.55 firmware......and once done i just upgraded it back and it still has the usb features.

Overall for the money .....i've got to say this is a really nice lcd all round.

Could you please kindly advise what kind of video files USB supports to play? Thanks!!!

No probs......

Just spent a few mins putting it through it's paces and i tell you what ,it's play every files so far i tried ...flawless.
I tried avi,dvix,mpeg2,vobs and the added bonus mkv files ...using the h.264 codec
Audio wise i've tried mp3,mp4,acc,ac3 which all have worked with no lagging at all :)

My opinion of this lcd as just gone even higher.......to get a decent 22" lcd with al lthe features this has aswell as the usb media player ...for this price.

This is red hot .....

Anymore info wanted just leave a message and i'll glady reply ;-)

These don't look too bad ....and after reading i see the usb can be hacked via a uni remote ;-)
Alittle bit more money but full HD and not 720p like this tv and also better guarantee

Otherwise it's a waiting game to see if they get anymore back in stock ....

Just downgraded and hacked but to upgrade back to 3.55 is a question - the firmware on the website given in the insructions has no our model in the list - only for much bigger screen.
Could you please kindly advise what to do??? At the moment it is 3.15 firmware...

Thank you in advance!!!

sorry m8 not too sure what you mean .......have you managed to get this lcd??? the LH2000

If so follow the usb hack guide step by step ......but the only thing they missed out is you need to hold the ok button on the remote aswell as on the tv itself for 5secs (both together).
That then brings up the page where you doing the changing and only change what is stated in the instructions......
Once done turn it off and update your set to 3.55 firmware (which is also on the usb hack site)......theres a notepad att to the firmware and yes our (LH20000) isn't on the list but still go ahead and update it ;-)

It works like i said ......i've just watched some sweet mkv rips off my 16gig pen and they played smooth with no probs at all .

Need anymore help just let us know ;-)

Thank you for all the posts. All done and dusted and I am very pleased with the TV. Upgraded back to 3.55 firmware - marvellous.

BTW, I have noticed that the latest firmware is 3.65 (and not 3.63 now!). Maybe someone knows any feedback about this?

Freeview channels were picked up by a very basic small loop aerial - impressed!!!

The sound is quite OK - I did not expect - pleasantly surprised :-)
#26
Glad you've got it all sorted ;-)
Yeah about the aerial ....i just used a cheap £4.99 one from wilkos.....and regarding the newer firmware,i'm unsure atm to be honest, haven't found anyone thats upgraded to the very latest firmware after doing the usb hack so i turned my auto upgrade off until i find more about it :)

Hi, I've picked this up yesterday at this price but was wondering if this model, LG M227WDP is better, being sold for a few pounds more? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
