Just ordered one - delivery 31/12/08 - can't be bad
#2
this spec if way better then the sony 32v4000. Which has contrast of 30,000:1.

Anyone else reckon this is better then the sony 32" , 32v4000
#3
I've taken the plunge as well.
#4
I was tempted at £350 but couldn't make up my mind. Now I just ordered 2 of them!
#5

Good price
you could add a wii console to the deal for £110 more (£459)
Shame I have a wii, as this is also a good deal imo, especially with 10% code gives @ £413 for a 32" TV & wii.

well it was a good price :x gone now it seems
#11
sell the wii on ebay for an even cheaper TV
#12
I just refreshed a couple of times and it still says "In stock" here.
#13
Back In Stock!!!
#14
good price, just temped with the cheaper one.
#15
I am either looking at this or the 42 inch that has been posted a few times on various threads but read somewhere on here that this 32 inch model though it states it's full HD 100mhz is infact only 75...can anyone confirm this and will i see any difference?
#16
after much deliberation (and I am sober) got one, god, thier website is slow.
looks a good deal, been waiting for a 1080 at this sort of price. thanks
#17
ordered one of these.
#18
worlds slowest website,good deal though,
#19
It's FULLHD but the 32" model isnt 100hz. Judging from other reviews i dont think 100Hz is all its cracked up to be.
I had a toshiba 32wlt which was 100Hz and actually preffered it with 100hz OFF as it had worse Picture quality with it on.
#20
OOS again
#21
its in stock but now its only 2.5% off so it comes to £340

looks a good tv, probably will wait and see what else comes up

yea i mean if dixons are doing a deal like this then a hell of alot of other places will this year or early jan without a doubt.
#23
:santa:wus the warranty on it
#24
but it's not full.....oh ****.

carry on. :P
#25
2.5 off now fine, but delivery is £20...wtf?

Ah £20 delivery if u get a package. So it's £130 more with Wii not £110...
#26
Still says free delivery for me.

Standard delivery is free, it only costs more if you choose a defined day/time on one of the checkout pages.

It tries to select that by default. look above and tick the free delivery box
#27
Screw it. To save £9 is not worth it.... because its a pain in the **** if it arrives damaged and you have to have it replaced. I'm just buying it for £350 from PC World.

I wish people wouldn't buy into the 'It has XXXXX dynamic cintrast ratio, it must be good' con.

The Sony is a MUCH better TV, even at only 720p (seriously, do people really think they will notice the diference on a TV this size?).

This LG has a horrid picture, the GUI is a pain, and the general build quality doesn't come close to the Sony (and I'm no Sony fanboy, I have a Samsung LCD TV).

So please, could people just look around for reviews instead of basing their purchase on specs.
#29
I have looked around the the LG is not that great, but its better than the rest. Its definetely better than the Sony.

was quite tempted as well to get this for my bedroom, been to PCWorld then Currys, & had a look at at this TV, great fully loaded spec for a 32", but the PQ is not as impressive I as hoped it to be, it was already hooked up to BD player in PCW, don't know wheher if it's the settings problems, but when looked at closely like 1 feet away, the details/colours are not great, also does this actually have 100hz?
#31
My order was declined/cancelled.
#32
Tried few stores and was told that Currys have around 3000 orders for them. Have ordered one but was told that wait could be 8-10 weeks :-(

Same as me, infact mine only got updated to "3-4 working days" today, before it was saying "null un-defined"

if i dont get it by next weekend il just go to comet and buy the sony one and cancel my order for the LG

I was told 8-10 weeks but hope that is wrong.

Firstly I tried a Currys.digital store in London and was told that they could order one in and it would be a few days. Then tried a Currys store nearer my home (the same day) and was told by a sales assistant that it could be 8-10 weeks and that the assistant in the London store had probably not checked the till correctly.

I will cancel my order if it is going to be 8-10 weeks beuse there will probably be better offers by that time.

Looks like this tv has now been removed from both PC World and Currys websites:?
