You can activate your usb port to play music, photos and movies (mkv´s with 1080p working!) through the service menu. (LH 3000 - 7000, maybe 2000 too)
You can reach the service menu by pressing "OK" on your remote and "OK" on your TV. Password is "0000".
Once you entered the service menu, go to option 3 and change "divx movie playback via usb" to "HD". Change JPEG to "1".
Use the return key on your remote to leave the service menu.
Now you can use your USB port to play Videos, even 1080p mkv files

note: that the service menu option only works in firmware 3.15 and below. You have to downgrade the firmware to 3.15, enter the service menu and then you can upgrade back to your later firmware (eg. mine has 3.40), with all usb features enabled.

Google is your friend: 32lh3000 usb firmware 3.40 ;)

The Price has changed from £319.99 to £339.99 so you end up paying £290.99 with discount (10tv+new15)
#10
Good deal, seems that prices have gone down on these 32'. Heat added
#11
yep same here!! £290.99
whats the code for 20% off
#12
so dose the usb work for movies on the lg 32lh2000 ?

if yes i will buy it right now.

thanks
#13
100% confirmed that the LH2000 models have the USB functions to play divx, music and photos...

You have to downgrade to 3.15 and then activate it. I bought one last week from RGBdirect and had it playing divx in 10 minutes!! I have to say I am amazed!! Picture quality its top notch..
#14
sorry i meant the 10% code used a 20% for anyother item from this site on littlewoods :>) got confused
#15
dam so it has gone up in price. put it down and i'll have it or else im sure some thing like this will come up soon again.

i had it in my basket at cheaper price but i had to do a few things and come back and it went up. what a shame
#16
Just ordered one for £290 hope i can cancel and reorder if price drops back to £272.
Don't forget 3% quidco.

Cannot play 1080p in full resolution as its only 1366 x 768 resolution!

I was going to say that?! I can NOT play 1080p files as it's NOT a full HD screen, it will however upscale to 1080i most likely but don't be fooled thinking it's 1080p. Not knocking the deal it seems a good price for a good telly but the info posted is a little misleading.

Link for site with instructions and fuller details on USB hack

Hes also got a link to the 3.15 firmware.

Surely it can;t even upscale to 1080i...
The whole point is that the screen resolution is 'only' 1366 x 768 so the best it would be able to do is one of the 720 formats?

It wont upscale to 1080i, it'll accept a 1080i and then downgrade it to 720p.

"High-definition video or HD video refers to any video system of higher resolution than standard-definition (SD) video, and most commonly involves display resolutions of 1280×720 pixels .."

Well actually it is. 1366 x 768 is HD ready, and is fine for a 32" screen unless you sit about 1 foot away from it.

FullHD at 1080P is great for screens of 40"+ but unnecessary on a 32.

The resolution of our eyes is 12 vertical lines per arc angle (one line per arcminute for 20/20 acuity) times 2. Now 28 degrees x 12 lines x 2 = 672. This means we really can't see a display component (pixel) smaller than 1/672 x image width. Our minimum resolvable element size is about 0.065", or about twice the size of the pixels of the WXGA image! Put bluntly, from 8 feet away while watching a 50 inch plasma TV, the human eye is generally incapable of reliably distinguishing any detail finer than that shown on a true 720p display!

Is this gonna be jaw droppingly good for xbox 360 gaming or should I be looking for summat else?

Perhaps that is so, but on my PC I can tell the difference between 720p and 1080p, just by watching it.

This is a con really, 1366 x 768 HD ready just means it's got a HDMI port. Unless it's full HD and ~37" it's not worth it.

So don't buy it because 'it's HD', buy it because it's a cheap with a HDMI slot.Just know what your getting is all I'm saying.

And how close are you sat to your PC monitor...?

Go ahead and waste your money on 1080p 32" TVs if you like... leave the cheaper ones for us!

Besides most sources aren't 1080p anyway - including Sky HD, most xbox/ps3 games, Freeview HD, Virgin HD..etc..

Just read the reviews on Reevoo they all give it an 9 or 8 out of 10 and all say how great the picture is its not going to get 9.2 review of 128 users if its crap ?????????

Me 2. I was going to buy a silly expensive 32 incher but at 228 delivered (before quidco) you'd be absolutely nuts not to get this!
#33
I see it at the £228 price too. Am i going mad?
Are they reputable?......i see them on here often but have never ordered
What will be the warranty status on this tv too?.....anyone know, just standard?
The TV is great! that has already been established!
#34

mine showed the carriage at 3.99, but it was not applied . 270 - 27 =243 - 15 = 228

228 but shows as staff discount... not sure what to do

My Invoice shows £279 - £45.99 discount + £3.99 carriage = 228 maybe I should try getting that £3.99 back to knock it down to £233.01. It did say free post when I entered the code but still added the £3.99 (I'm such a penny pincher).

Ordered at £228 - Scorching deal

Thanks OP +9 +Rep :D
