Looks like a hot deal to me, heat added! LG is a good make and very impressive spec. for the money.

PS. Hermanjelmet: your description refers to the TV as 32", whereas it is definitely a 37" model - you might want to change it.

Looking at the picture, that does look a cool feature to have. Cheers for that

Does anybody know what the sound/picture quality is like? I'm torn between this and the samsung le40c530 deal for £359.99. hmmmm
#11
Ordered the 42 inch version of this for my mother from amazon when it was £397 and it is currently being prepped for dispatch after a two week wait for stock.

Umming and arring about cancelling and buying this instead, not least because my mother having a bigger TV than me (40 inch Sony) is just....weird.....

I have the netcast equivalent on my Sony by the way, and if you are buying a bedroom TV, its a must, especially for iPlayer. Whilst downstairs you are almost certainly going to have a PVR of some sort, in the bedroom you want it all in one unit - and this (plus maybe a couple of homeplugs) makes it ideal for catching up with whatever you missed on TV that day, and all with everything within the TV itself.

Now same price on amazon, so take your pick on your retailer....

Hi guys, has this tv got full hd freeview or not please?
Thanks for your time
#16
How do you actually connect this to the Internet without an Ethernet cable?

Thanks

3" bigger, but doesn't have Freeview HD or internet and its £40.00 more. My money would be on the LG TBH, unless you're desperate for a 40"er.

I have this TV, picture quality is absolutely amazing.. out does the Sony bravia in my lounge by far.

And I love how it can play 1080p MKVs straight from USB :)

How do you actually connect this to the Internet without an Ethernet cable?

Thanks

without one?
you either buy the wifi add on(bet its not cheap) or use another solution
wireless bridge,homeplugs etc
#24
This TV is also DLNA compliant. Which makes it very interesting.

Reviews on ebuyer for the same model, but 32", seem to say that this can stream 1080p ( http://www.ebuyer.com/product/244920#reviews ).

If you want to stream 1080p through DLNA then having read some comments on AVforums you may be better off with the homeplug option (or a long cable from your router) rather than a wireless dongle.

i grabbed one of these a couple of months ago and measured 80ms of input lag even with game mode enabled and frame enhancements disabled, went back the next day

Hi, just wondering what the difference is between this one and ...Herecheers

No internet or freeview HD to name a few...

I've ordered, but it is still awaiting stock, even though it was expected yesterday according to the website

Edit: In stock now

Ordered, 58 left at the moment

My tv arrived this morning. I am well pleased with it so far!
#39
out of stock
#40
Mine arrived yesterday - connected it up in the office - SUPERB.

Full HD plays from network and from USB, so negates the need for a separate media player.
