yes I did notice them, but I prefer the "security" of amazon. The least people have my credit card details the better (_;)

Does this have optical?

This looks like a fantastic TV - it seems very smooth incomparison with the 50hmz Sony LCD I looked (dont know which model). Only down side is the colours were almost too vibrant, which is perhaps due to the LEDs.

Why are 37" tellys from expensive than 40/42" tellys? :|

Max size to fit my living room is 37" but I don't want to pay £400 for it. Damn these marketing people - reduce the prices of 37" tellys please.

A recent tv reliability survey shows that the most reliable brands are LG, Panasonic, Samsung & Sony. They scored so similarly to each other, that you can choose a tv from one of the above brands on it's performance, rather than reliability.

Samsung topped the survey for overall performance.

I think that LG don't make 37" panels, so have to buy them in, which is more expensive than using LGs own panels, hence higher price.

LG do manufacture 37" Panels, it's Samsung who doesn't as they use different substrate sizes to LG.
