First comment below the site item description :-

"The backlight has bright patches in some of the corners, the speakers crackle lots. The quality of standard definition is poor, and the 50hz refresh rate makes for very blurred motion. In all i am very disappointed with this tv, and because of the backlight and speaker faults, i will be returning it."

The 50Hz bit puts me off. Previous experience has taught me that anything less than 100Hz may well become very annoying.

being put off by 1 negative review is just crazy!!

the 2nd review states;

The picture and sound are perfect, we don't need our DVD player anymore as we can watch movies directly from the hard disc.

3rd review

This is a quality TV, at a very good price.

Overall the TV for the size and price is a steel, unless you can find it cheaper! the deal in question is HOT for the price.

I realise that one person's perception is different from another's and would rarely be totally swayed by one individual non-expert opnion, but I did say that what put me off was the 50Hz aspect. This I have had experience of (with an LG full HD set as it happens), and I was very disappointed, so that I will not make the same mistake again, and would caution others to bear the refresh rate in mind.

bought it for 450 from RS 3 months ago. not the best pics and you know it is 50Hz but LED backlight at this price is HOT! thumb down to some ebay-ers spend this much for a 2-4 yr old tv..
