I just ordered this from Currys, its £399 which is already the cheapest around (Amazon = £415) but if you add the voucher 'SALES5' you get an extra 5% off so I paid just £379.05. What do you think? Btw this is my first post.

Very good first post, have some heat.
#4
Really good post. Heat.

Though I am put off by LG's bad reviews and will probably go for a Samsung or Sony instead.

Bought one of these recently from a slightly cheaper deal on here. Very happy with it.
You can also unlock an extra feature on this model that allows movies to played via USB port, as well as the spec documented photos and music.
#11
I love my LG and although this model is slightly lower spec then mine it is also 100 quid cheaper to have voted this HOT!
As jasonfrog says it is about 10-15 minutes work to unclock these LG's so they can play all sorts of files from a USB-i have thrown so many different video formats at mine and they never fail to play.
#12
wish i had waited 2 more days.... got it for 415 from amazon :P

Got this about a month ago, paid about £30 more. Great price. Really pleased with the TV. Great picture quality (coming from a mid-range Samsung 32" 720p). Don't they use the same LCD plants anyway?

Only trouble I have is I lose sound when switching from HDMI2 (PC connected) back to TV. Have to turn off and then back on again. Got a replacement which did the same! So maybe it's a general bug. Or could just be my cable? Only just thought of that. Not tried a different one yet.

Only bad thing is only two HDMI sockets. And the remote range is a bit crap, you have to be pretty specific about where you're pointing. Only minor niggles, great set.

Hot.

Oh WHY WHY did I have to upgrade to 'next day' delivery with AMAZON for this telly. I ordered it this morning and it due to delivered tomorrow, could I just ask them not to deliver it and return it straight to them from the courier's depot? anyone? some advice? I paid £422. It goes without saying that I feel like a right muppet.!

You can return it - might have to pay return postage.

How long does it take to return the item and get the money back? I'm seriously thinking of returning this and saving £35!

probably 2-3 days before they will collect it.... and another 2 weeks or so to get money back....
that's why its too much hassle for me... plus some1 has to be home to pick up delivery 1st time... give it back to courier second time round... and collect delivery from currys... tooo much hassle for 35 quid really
#27
Yea you might be right... still annoying though lol
#28
Is there anyway to reserve and collect this from a store and use the discount code?
#29
now £369 at amazon :)
#32
Just ordered it via Currys with quico code quidc5 so 5% discount and 3% cash back making it £367.68 with free delivery.

Yes, but your not 100% guaranteed to receive quidco
#34
great find, though there is another post on UKHD for this tv for £10 less at amazon, does anyone know if the 3% quidco will work with the SALES5 discount code?
#35
£369 at AMAZON NOW?

I'm definitely not happy about this. Yesterday I paid £422 for it and overnight the price magically drops...? I'm going to get a call back early today,8 am. I may even possibly reorder another tv for this price and return the one i paid the highest for, that's if they just test my patience over the phone :p.
